Our guys are going to have to change their body shape, or we need new guys. Otherwise, the O will have to adapt to guys that can’t move. I don’t like that option. Any word on Strength and Conditioning coach changes?

Edit: I’m not advocating for a change at S/C, I just haven’t heard anything either way.

My guess is the OLC's first look at his roster involved drawing up new fitness and dietary plans with the support staff.

You don't have to change the S&C staff. The staff did with our OL was they were asked to

If they're asked to make them quicker, they'll likely change training protocols to slim them down to improve speed and mobility

I believe several of UW OLs are in the portal.

I don't think we were great at pulling this year but I'm not convinced it's just body type. A lot of pulling is about the technique and I'm not sure how well it was coached. Most teams have an identity with them being a zone or gap scheme and we didn't have either to be honest. Hopefully Huff will be able to coach them up because Booker or Roberts pulling to kick a defensive end should always end with a pancake.

Honestly I don't care what scheme we come up with or what type of OL body we are recruiting. Anything has got to be better than what we've had the past 3 seasons

Pulling is what gave us fits against Auburn and Michigan. UGA also struggled with it against Auburn.

Our S&C molded our guys according to how Saban/Wolford wanted. They will now mold them to how DeBoer/Huff wants them. I see lots of cardio in their futures.
