Around three weeks ago he said “I don’t know for sure yet, but I’m aiming to announce sometime in January".
All things point to us being the favorite, but Duke, Texas, Ohio State and Michigan are still options.

Charles Bediako and Wesley Cardet are the only priority recruits we have left in the 2021 class.
Ramses Melendez is someone that we aren't recruiting very hard, but could possibly enter the picture if we were to miss on both Bediako and Cardet. This feels highly unlikely though.
Nimari Burnett is someone that is currently in the transfer portal that Oats will do whatever he can to sign.

Yes. The question is who. The consensus the other day was Gary, which makes sense because he isn't getting a ton of minutes and isn't an Oats guy, but also doesn't make sense because Gary can clearly be a significant contributor at this level from what I've seen. I don't think there's a Forbes or Hawkins on this team who simply isn't a good fit for P-6 basketball.

It should be Rojas imo - that would be preference at least. But after Oats recruited him to Buffalo and then to Alabama i'm just assuming that he'll stick around.

Don’t know if Gary has fully recovered from his injury but he looks like he is going to be a terrific player in the future.

He is probably the worst fit for what we do, but I think even Rojas has a role on a P-6 roster. He just doesn't really want to accept it.

Reese is a senior. He's limited skill wise, but makes up for it in effort.

247 has a new Bediako article up. There is nothing earth shattering about it. Says that JD is recruiting him hard and he still plans to announce in January and if not January it will be February.

I'll be shocked if it isn't Alabama. He really likes our style of play and two of his former teammates are on our team. Has a really good relationship with our coaches too.
I didn't realise Bediako was such a good shooter, but I read that he shot almost 40% from three last year, albeit on only about 50 attempts.

That's enough that making 40% isn't a fluke though. It's not like he made 2 of 5 or something.
