Yeah, if we get Muhammad and he is eligible immediately to fill the backup PG role...that would be awesome.

If that Happens Oats would have literally addressed every question on the roster.

Reporting with @DraftExpress: As information gathering on draft-eligible prospects remains limited in a pandemic, many NBA teams are united in hopes of encouraging the league office to push the date of the June 25 draft until no sooner than August 1. Story soon on ESPN.

That’s gonna frick CBB up IMO. We have to move on without Petty if that’s the case

it almost looks like he would rather make a good pass than shoot the ball. I guess when Quinerly needs a break, we could play Brunner at point guard.

Only 2 signees right now too, with no additional commits. They will have to play with a really short bench next year unless they get a bunch of guys at the last minute. They're losing like 8 guys to the draft or transfer.

.@wojespn reporting the @NBADraft may be moved back to at least August. College coaches, more than ever, must be “roster management supervisors.” No bitching but, rather, figure out who staying & who’s going. It’s the new normal. This is routine for JUCO coaches & NBA GM’s.

Yeah, what happened with that this year? We just kept forcing it and it was totally out of sync.

It probably consistently worked in practice against our shitty bigs so we decided to implement it

Damn, Howland had 2-3 great signing classes and basically got 1 NCAA game (a 12/5 loss) out of it.

Kind of the story for him as a whole. Never has had problem getting talent. Keeping them all together and coaching it has always been the issue.

Our sources say Jordan Bruner will commit to ALABAMA at 3pm est today. We’ll wait until he announces it to celebrate.

Herb will get a lot of feeds from Bruner, if we get him.

Not celebrating until it's official.

I've been putting my MSU news and comments in the other basketball thread and trying to keep this thread clear for the 2pm orgasm.

Maybe Bruner will be able to do something with those perfectly setup lobs that Our bigs weren’t good enough to finish

You mean that our guards were terrible at. I love Kira, but the Alley pass is not in his repertoire.

It was 50/50. Half the time it was the Guards and half the time it was our bigs.

I blamed the guards for the decision to throw the alley-oop, whether or not it was a bad pass. They weren’t good at passing it and you need to know who you’re passing to. An alley pass to anyone other than Herb (maybe Petty on a break) was a mistake on last year’s team in my mind.

Yeah. Hard to blame the bigs when they were being asked to do something they physically could not do.
