I’d like to get Darius Miles he has a high ceiling.

Bama probably lands at least 3 of those 4. Miles would more than likely redshirt next year if he hops on board. He needs to bulk up and get tougher. Very high ceiling like you said.

Harper, to your knowledge, have any of our current players been asked to look around elsewhere yet?

Not to my knowledge but you know they’re aware of the situation

We have two spots open so it depends on how many we sign as to how many transfer out. If we sign three then only one will have to transfer.

Cary Clark who covers Bama Basketball for Bama Central, the Sports Illustrated site posted this a couple of days ago.

My predictions for the final 3 pieces of Nate Oats’ 2020 class in order:
Juco G Keon Ellis
Juco G Saquan Singleton
Yale transfer C Jordan Bruner
At least two should commit this week.

Don’t forget Darius Miles. Very good chance with him as well. I like his game better than Tradun Murphy
Outside of adding a big i want this kid more than anyone.

Who is that?

I do too. That Miles kid can put it in the bucket.

I like Miles a lot but Keon Ellis is a must add. I don't want the best shooting guard off the bench to be Forbes or Singleton.

Would much rather have Miles than Murphy

If we sign Darius Miles, I demand he bring this back.

He was fun to watch. I’ve yet to confirm whether he’s related to him or not

Kira and Petty will probably stay in the draft and open up 2 more spots.
Given how aggressive Oats has been on the transfer/JuCo market I'm thinking he wants to bring in as many new players as he can, so I fully expect a couple of guys to be told to look elsewhere.

It’s for the best honestly. If we only ask/tell one more to transfer out, I think I prefer it to be Galin. Out of everyone on the roster, he’s the least qualified to play in this system imo. Props to the kid for his hard work and hustle he’s shown here, but it’s better for both parties if he moves on to a place that suits his style better and allows us to bring someone in that can benefit the program.

I was assuming they stay in the draft when I said we have two spots open.

We already have two spots open. Are you talking about spots for additions besides Ambrose and Primo?

You have to remember that part of Oat's aim is to remake the culture of the program (and God knows, we need it) so one or more of the upperclassmen (Reese maybe?) make be encouraged to leave just to clear the air. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if one or two unexpected transfers occur. Are you hearing anything on that front, Harper?
