It seems like we have a lot of interest in Ambrose - more than I thought a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, I don't believe we sent anyone to the Bahamas to see him like Bama did. I'm just assuming here but I think he started as a secondary option for Arkansas as there were at least 5 targets higher all from Arkansas. Now with Moore looking less and less likely, I'm sure Ambrose will raise up but think we are playing from behind now.

Seems like its hard to get a straight answer but I would feel pretty good in your spot if NC State is the only team that others see you in competition with. NC State should only have one spot left (obviously coaches can change that by asking players to move on) and they have a higher target in Josh Hall that is trending toward them.

He was devastated after the FT misses. I have never seen an Alabama player that disconsolate after a loss in recent memory. It highlights his competitiveness.
Kudos to him.

Pretty confident in landing Keon. Semi-confident in Jackson. Not confident at all in Nimari

Honestly, Jackson and Ambrose are much more important IMO than Nimari. Obviously I want Nimari too though.

Agreed. An instant impact guard would be nice to have in this class, but we need bigs who can defend more than anything else. Jackson is arguably the best defensive prospect in the class (think of a bigger Herb who is also an elite help defender/shot blocker) and Ambrose is a long, rangy guy who should also be a good defender.

Whose involved?: Alabama, Kentucky and Syracuse.

The latest: The athletic shot-blocker has visited all three of his finalists and is all set to announce his decision on Saturday, Nov. 16. Word on the street has been that this has been a back and forth tug-of-war between Alabama and Kentucky while Syracuse just hasn't gotten much buzz. Alabama has been pegged as the team to beat by many, but it's awfully tough to bet against John Calipari at closing time.

Whose involved?: Alabama, Arkansas, Dayton, N.C. State and USC.

The latest: A Canadian who is mobile and has a good-looking stroke on his jump shot, Ambrose-Hylton is all done with his official visits and has a decision scheduled for Nov. 17. Dayton put in a lot of early work on this one and has a strong foundation with him, but as we head down the stretch, it is Alabama and N.C. State who have started to pick up the buzz. As of today, let's call Alabama the slight favorite.

I think this class will be 3 as well. Hoping for Jackson, Ambrose-Hylton, and Burnett(or) Bediako.

Jackson is the best shot blocker in this class and it isn’t close

Not good news on Nimari. Still feel good about Jackson and Ambrose. Will probably have to add a Grad Transfer Guard.

So did he see our game and think “hell nah” or did he see our game and liked how much Kira was able to do?

Nimari, Jackson, and Ambrose will all announce next week.

Could be a great week or could be a really bad week.

Even if we get just one of the three, I'll be satisfied. I really want Jackson though. We so need a rim protector.
