Seems like he is more of a very good second option for both teams. Think he is working on an NC State visit and by looking at who they are targeting, he is probably their biggest target at the moment.

Just two visits in to his four-college official visit schedule, Prolific Prep (Napa, California) combo guard Nimari Burnett has “no idea” where’s he’ll ultimately commit to; what he does know is that his recruitment won’t go past his birthday on Dec. 20.
“I’ll be good to go for Christmas,” said Burnett, who is ranked No. 15 overall in USA Today Sports’ Chosen 25 for 2020. “At the earliest it’ll be early December. I just have to weigh things out when I’m done with my visits.”
Burnett is down to Michigan, Alabama, Oregon and Texas Tech.
He’s already taken officials to Ann Arbor, Tuscaloosa, Lubbock and he visited Oregon this past weekend.
“I’ll weigh things out with my family and go from there,” Burnett said. “Going on these visits can make it harder, but I’m focused on what I want. It’s about the fit for me.”
Burnett wants to play right away with a team that, talent-wise, can legitimately compete for a national title.
“I want to play with great players,” Burnett said. “The biggest thing for me is to win.”
Burnett did a lot of that this summer with Team WhyNot (California), averaging 20 points, four assists and three rebounds a game, despite playing alongside two other Chosen 25 players like his Prolific Prep teammate Jalen Green and Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, California) point guard Devin Askew.
That trio, plus Bella Vista Prep (Scottsdale, Arizona) point guard Addison Patterson, an Oregon commit, went all the way to the Nike Peach Jam Finals, the toughest tournament of the summer.
Burnett is hoping that his summer success will be a foreshadowing of the success he’ll have at Prolific Prep this season.
“In all humbleness, I think that we’re the No. 1 team in the country,” Burnett said. “We’re really talented, we have great chemistry and we’re deep. Everyone is really hungry so we’re ready to prove it.”

Shoutout to Isaiah Jackson and his dad. They’ve been very straightforward with colleges and have the right mindset approaching the decision. At no point has he had a cluttered up final 5-8-12 list including teams that have no chance. Love it.

I see Nimari moving further and further away from us; but just maybe Oats has him on a rope.

My hope is that with the guys that are signing later, they'll see Bama winning a lot of games over the next few weeks and doing it with an exciting style.

Honestly this isn't that big of a deal in CBB recruiting

Except at least one of our targets specifically said it is.

Winning is probably the most important factor.

It’s been a whirlwind of a recruiting process for Karim Mane. The Quebec product sits atop the Canadian 2020 class as the number one prospect in the class;

“These are the schools I’ve cut my list to.”
Mane goes on to list Marquette, Memphis, Michigan St, Georgetown, Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Cal, Wake Forest.
He’s beginning to figure out dates for official visits and December 28th is a time that he will be taking one but is uncertain of where that will be. Mane wanted to take official visits at a time where NCAA teams are in the heat of the season so he can watch and learn as much as possible about the style of play and fit.
Marquette is scheduled for January 3, 2020.

Isaiah Jackson, the 6-foot-9 forward from Waterford Mott (MI) and The Family Detroit AAU, plans to sign during the NCAA early signing period Nov. 13-20, his father told ZAGSBLOG.
“We’ll be announcing here shortly what date but it will be in November during the early signing period,” Wesley Jackson said Thursday by phone.
The No. 3-ranked power forward in the Class of 2020 per 247Sports.com, Jackson is down to Alabama, Kentucky and Syracuse. He is coming off an official visit to Alabama last weekend after previously visiting both Kentucky and Syracuse.
“It went pretty good, better than expected,” Wesley Jackson said. “It kind of shocked us and the program is in better shape than what I imagined.
“It wasn’t a total shock but to see how well their program is put together and the resources they have at their disposal. They are a very put-together program. With Coach [Nate] Oats coming there, it just solidifies their resources that they already had available for their program. It just kind of put it all together.
“Their message to us was that they want Isaiah to come there and be their premier player. They just emphasized that they have nobody there like Isaiah. They have a lot of good players, role players and players that they would use to complement Isaiah.”
Meantime, Wesley Jackson said he remains in touch with the Kentucky and Syracuse staffs.
“Me and Kenny [Payne] texted at the beginning of the week,” he said. “Me and coach [Jim] Boeheim and coach [Red] Autry we talked [Wednesday] as a matter of fact. So we’re still in touch with all of them. We normally talk at least once, sometimes twice a week.”
This year on the EYBL circuit, Jackson averaged 10.9 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks.

Would be a little surprised and extremely disappointed if we don’t get IJackson. Need Kentucky to back off.

Isaiah is commiting on the 15th or 16th. Would be huge to get him so Nimari knows he won’t be coming alone if he chose here.
