I assume Jackson and Ambrose will be arriving sometime today to begin their official visit.

Alabama set to have a huge weekend hosting five-star senior Isaiah Jackson, who has been a major priority for Nate Oats and is seen as the current leader for Jackson.
Also, they’ve got Top-80 senior Keon Ambrose on campus for his official visit.
Both could announce soon.

Great to have them on campus. I just wish it wasn’t pouring down rain

It's a massive weekend for Alabama, and while the Tide currently sit with a goose egg in the 2020 class, they are hoping to change that with two official visitors. Isaiah Jackson has been their primary frontcourt target in recent months, and he's not too far from making his college decision. The Tide will have the last chance to sway the elite defender. Kentucky has received most of the talk lately, but Alabama is a program that has remained heavily in contention throughout. Syracuse is also involved and a signing is likely to be made next month, with the Tide and UK having the best chance.
Keon Ambrose-Hylton will join Jackson for his final official visit. Keep an eye on Arkansas with the Canadian talent. The Tide do have some momentum, but so do Dayton and NC State. Deebo Coleman, a four-star junior, will continue his unofficial visit trek by heading to the SEC program on Saturday.

Nimari Burnett will head to Oregon to see what the Ducks have cooking as he makes his final official visit before making a decision. He is down to a final four that consists of Alabama, Michigan, Texas Tech and Oregon, and each of his finalists has been perceived as the favorite at one point in time.
Of the four, Alabama has garnered the most talk throughout, but Oregon has come on strong lately, and its need for a perimeter weapon can't be understated. Every year, Dana Altman enrolls a five-star prospect. He is sitting without such a commitment this fall, but it is not a matter of if that will happen, but with whom. The Ducks are also heavily in the mix for Burnett's travel and school teammate, Jalen Green, but they also just missed on Scottie Barnes. Could their response be the commitment of the ultra-versatile Burnett?
A signing will likely be made in the spring, with Burnett evaluating the early portion of the college season before making his commitment.

Five-star guard Nimari Burnett is down to four schools: Oregon, Texas Tech, Alabama, and Michigan.
He broke down his finalists below:
Oregon: A good school with a good coaching staff. Obviously they are on top as far as nike goes but they also see me coming right in and being the starting point guard to lead the team to a national championship.
Alabama: A new coaching staff coming from Buffalo that sees me coming in and being basically the top option and playing both the 1 and 2 and his 2-point guard offense.
Michigan: I’ve known Juwan Howard since I was little and for him to be a coach of a program that not only he came from but is also a good school means a lot.
Texas Tech: One of the best coaches in the country with Coach Beard, with a great program that speaks for itself with player development and winning. They see me coming in and hopefully getting out in one year.
As for his visits, Burnett said this: “On visits i’m looking at facilities, feeling out coaching staff, getting to know the players and the academic programs.”
Decision timetable: December-January

Alabama’s new staff under Nate Oats has arrived in Tuscaloosa looking to recruit some of the best players in the country. With only one scholarship, the Crimson Tide are swinging for the fences with that spot. This weekend, five-star big man Isaiah Jackson takes his official visit to Alabama and the Crimson Tide appear to have some momentum in his recruitment.
Jackson has been focused on Alabama, Kentucky and Syracuse for some time now. Kentucky and Syracuse already hosted the Michigan native for official visits, so Alabama gets the last shot at swaying him its way. Don’t sleep on Oats’ connections in the state of Michigan. He was a highly successful high school coach in the state before moving up to the college level. If he’s able to lure Jackson to Tuscaloosa, it would be one of the bigger upsets in the 2020 cycle and one of the more impactful commitments in the class.

So are we no longer seen as the leader for Burnett?
Posted on 10/25/19 at 11:26 am to Allthatfades
I’m not sure who is perceived as the leader for Burnett. It seems like all four schools are in good shape to land at him at their point.
I will say that my own personal confidence in landing him has decreased recently, but that could just be my own natural pessimism of good things happening to Alabama basketball.

If Jackson commits to us maybe that will make NB feel better about coming to Bama. I'm glad Jackson is announcing his school first

Ambrose seems to fit us perfectly. What do you guys think of him?

Jayden Stone just released his top 5. He included Bama even tho we stopped recruiting him many months ago. Kind of weird

What time today jeez lol. What takes them so long. Like what are they doing.

Looks like it was denied, right?
Posted on 10/25/19 at 8:41 pm to My2Bits
Yes it was denied. They’re appealing it tho and 45% of appeals were overturned last year, so there’s still a chance
Posted on 10/25/19 at 9:02 pm to Bamafan18
Did they give a reason for denying it?
