I was actually more impressed with that then the normal highlight video (of guys dunking and making wide open 3s).

Showed a pretty nice handle and footwork (things that a lot of our recruits don't always have) on some of the step back stuff.

Same. His highlights were more impressive to me than most HS guards. The guy is a scoring machine.

I think we are gonna be pretty good on offense next year. Defense will be my concern.

But Kira,Petty,Mack,Reese,Beetle,Shack, and Forbes can all shoot.

Oats believe in pressuring the ball handlers up the court on D, I really like that. Way more aggressive defensive philosophy than Avery had.

Our D wont be great this year but will be better than last year I think.

We will score more and will mostly avoid those long droughts that killed us under Avery and Grant (Which should ease some of the burden on the defense). Defense may be rough for a season until Oats has it exactly how he wants it, but we should bring more pressure and force teams to make faster decisions.

Yeah, I have no idea how Shackelford is ranked behind Forbes. Shackelford looks like he’s an entirely different echelon of prospect. The only thing I can think of is that Forbes is a lockdown defender and Shackelford has matador defense.

Pressuring the ball will lead to more steals and more wide open transition buckets too.

Forbes looks to have better size and athleticism and he appears to be playing better competition in his highlight videos.

LSU has the 91st ranked recruiting class in basketball and they are losing everyone(potentially)...they are going to suck so hard next year. Wade knows next year will be miserable so I bet they part ways.

I hope it was worth it, Tigahs. Your one year of enjoyment with that pay for play roster just destroyed the next 5 years of your basketball program.

Also, LSU fans act like Wade didn't cheat but if he was such a natural recruiter then how is this upcoming class so bad?

I don't get this. fricking lean into it, talk up how you are getting these talented kids paid. We all know now that bball is definitely rampant with Pay to Play, so embrace that shite, don't act ignorant about it.
I'd rather be Ole Miss and admit doing it and make excuses for that over pretending that it wasnt happening.

Trendon’s dad told BOL they won’t be visiting Bama this weekend. Also Watford got another CB last night for Memphis. It’s over.

Nice. We can’t get a literal fan of the university that lives 60 miles from campus

Give someone enough money and they will do anything. Memphis is putting on the full court press to pair Wiseman with another 5 star. Penny and Memphis need this.

Yeah, it's tough to get good players when you've had a bad coach and the new coach just has a couple of weeks to convince players he's going to turn the program around. Plus, I don't know if we're paying players as much as Memphis seems to be.

That said, it ain't over. I expect him to go to Memphis, but I'll hold out hope until he goes. Then, I'll wish him the best, and hope Memphis doesn't win a game.

And, we'll be fine without Watford. He'd be great to have, but I like the team, even without him.

Well good for him. Look forward to him being productive and Memphis imploding.
