I don't know Petty's money situation but theoretically I think that he has improved enough that he could declare after this year and catch on with some team in the G league. If he cones back next year and keeps improving he can probably be a top 40 pick in the draft.

I'm starting to think that Kira is gonna be gone after this year. The mock drafts I've been seeing recently have him going somewhere between the 18th and 40th pick.

BR mock has him going 18th
Babock has him going 26th
Espn's latest mock has him gong 39th

Hard to see him coming back if he is gonna be a top 40 pick.

Would be great if he did come back though, he could for sure use another year in the weight room.

Yeah but picks 33-40 of that range come in the 2nd round, which means no guaranteed roster spot and a likely trip to the G-League.

He likely wouldn't go to the G league being a top 40 pick.

If everyone, minus Beetle and Smith, come back...this team is going to be nasty next season.

Curry is in trouble. They are going to pull an Avery and collapse down the stretch.

That one was pretty bad. Had a lead... a solid lead, for 90% of the game.

Yeah you are Gumping hard with those predictions. We obviously aren't going to win the championship until year 4.

Actually it’s 31-40 for the NBA. The thing that works in our favor is Kira’s age. He can come back for his junior year and still be younger than most of the sophomores when he’s drafted.

The one thing that doesn’t work in our favor is how weak this draft class is. Even if he picks it up a notch for his Junior year, there’s a risk that he could still go lower than in this draft class.

Oops. I forgot that the NBA only has 30 teams. That just gives him more chances to go in round 2 though.

I think Kira needs a lot of work before he is even remotely prepared for that level of competition though regardless of what his draft projection is. He either needs to put on some serious muscle or live in the gym over the offseason to become a much better 3pt shooter, because he simply does not possess the ball security or floor vision of a full time NBA PG. He's going to have to make his money scoring points and with his slight frame and less than great outside shooting he will have a hard time doing it at that level.

Rhode Island has quietly won five straight games after losing its Atlantic 10 opener against Richmond.

Rams are not on the NCAA Tournament radar just yet, but own wins over Providence, Alabama, and VCU (at the Siegel Center).

An emerging team to monitor.

He is looking at our overall record way too much. We have 3 losses by a combined 9 points and all but one of our wins have been by double digits, the one exception being an 8 point win against a good Furman team. So while you can say we are a couple of shots away from being 14-4 you can't flip it around and say we are also a couple of shots away from being 8-10.

I talked about this on tRant but some put way too much faith in Joe's bracket. I understand why his is the popular one to look at during the year but on bracket matrix his bracket isn't even in the top 50 most accurate brackets they track.

Yeah, his in-season brackets are generally 1-2 weeks behind the curve.

Which, again, doesn't really matter because whatever. He also hasn't seemed to figure out the relationship between NET and the tournament, yet.
