That was ugly as hell... Yet despite playing like shite, we won at Vandy, by 15. I know Vandy is bad, but imagine any team of the past decade having a bad game on the road against any team, good or bad. That's the difference with Oats. I think I love him.

Javian Davis has a knee injury and will have an MRI in the morning, per Nate Oats, who said “it didn’t look very good, but we won’t know until tomorrow.” @alabamambb

One of my favorite things ever is Collin Sexton telling him his son was trash during an AAU game.

Sounds like Davis is done. Hawkins is gonna have to step up and play.

I was going to ask about Hawkins, I guess they had planned to redshirt him but so much for that now. Ready or not they need a big body

What could this team be with one favorable eligibility ruling and good health?

Idk but now our 3 guys playing the 5 are...

Reese: Who is playing with a hip injury that’s gonna require surgery.

Hawkins: Who hasn’t played but in Garbage time

And Galin.

I am very confused about how I feel right now. We just won a game in Memorial Clown Car by 15 points, which is like a once in a generation accomplishment for our basketball program

This was either the second or third largest margin of victory there by a Bama team since the place opened in 1952.

Other than the injury, there’s no way to feel about the night other than ecstatic.

Jeez so Tyler Barnes isn’t far from playing important minutes. Yikes

Is a super smallball lineup with Herb at the 5 plausible?

Yeah but we played like crap outside of about 15 minutes of game time, and we're now down another body in the front court for at least a few weeks if not the rest of the season. I think Oats is the guy, but I just have a bad feeling these dudes are going to hit a wall here soon through no real fault of their own.

Don't get too excited, Vanderbilt is really a bad team. They have shown they're not going to win many,if any, more games the rest of the season

I watched the last 14 minutes of the game and Vandy outscored Bama by a few points. Really ugly to watch what I saw

The game was about 6 or 7 minutes of us playing well and 30+ minutes of absolute shite
