That looks really nice

Do not count on any renovations to Coleman Coliseum anytime soon. Cost projections way too expensive and require off site home games for at least a season.

Can't wait to see what the renders look like when we begin construction in 2030.

Yea, they can find an excuse every offseason to keep putting shite off. If they are serious, then they will find a way to make things happen.

I’m not buying any excuses

Byrne dmd someone I know awhile back on Twitter that was talking about the renovations and basically said they’re doing the football renovations so that they can raise money for everything else. I know we already know that, but why can’t they just publicly say it

Yea - I mean, I don't blame Byrne. He's doing what he has to do to build facilities across the spectrum and keep the dollars rolling in from donors. And the money people, in general, care much more about little football stuff than they do anything basketball.

It just is what it is.

Interesting looking at 247 recruiting, Avery and Grant brought in some of the best talent we’ve ever had at Bama and did nothing with it other than Sexton carrying us to the second round.

I think everyone kinda assumed this unfortunately. It will take a football recruit citing the awesome atmosphere at a basketball game they went to on an OV as a factor in why they signed with Alabama to get the attention of the FOG boosters.

I think the fanbase will get annoyed enough to make them listen. Oats won’t be afraid to speak up either. If he takes us to the tourney in his first two seasons and picks up a couple wins both times he will speak up.

The fact that we only got 1 NCAAT our back to back classes that included Trevor Releford, Levi Randolph, Trevor Lacey and Rodney Cooper sucks.

Grant's recruiting after that 2011 class was basically garbage, though. Pollard was highly ranked but was awful and then had the weird stuff happened and he left. Jimmie Taylor never really progressed much. Algie Key was a bust. Hale never got better (he got worse).

There just wasn't a plan in place on the types of kids we wanted to sign to fit a system, because there wasn't really a system for either one. Grant's was to play defense and Johnson's was.......I don't really know.
