Elgin had six strikeouts all season coming into the game. Already with 7 tonight. Knew he’d be excited pitching back home so to speak but this is a little crazy.

He's been mixing his slow curve with fastballs on the black the last couple innings. Pitching backwards really well, popping a few in.
