Reminds of the Jeff Dunn and Billy Ray battle in the 80’s.

Although Dunn was a serviceable QB, Ray was smooth.

my untrained eye thought Ray should have been given a chance in stressful time as well as mop up.

Ray seemed to fare pretty well at Duke two years.

I wonder if we will think the same about Simpson next year if he is burning it up elsewhere.

Definitly more accurate, taller, stronger in the pocket. Less TO prone. Also he didn't work with the first team Oline at Aday. He is a passing QB, Ty Simpson being a running QB just won't work.

I will never post again if Mack passes Ty on the depth chart. It’s not going to happen. He’s not even the 3rd best QB on the team right now.

Simpson will do great elsewhere, but Mack will keep him out of QB1 at Bama. Ty will do something similar to Jalen at OU.

Ray won the ACC title at Duke with SOS.

Dunn should have been at FS/SS.

Ray turned down Curry at GA Tech and then we turned around and hired Curry.

No need to stop posting. Mack is clearly has the most talent. The coaches snatched him from UW. Ty is great to but not good for modern football as a runner. Ty is late first round early second. Mack is 1st overall pick potential.

Bingo!

They never allowed a quarterback competition.

Which I don't mind it because I believe we can win with both but...

People say well there's no evidence of Simpson being better than Milroe well there is...all through spring and summer he's been the best. Even in the scrimmages as well.

We are blessed to have these two quarterbacks in the room

Saw P Sizzle at Hotel Capstone while I was on campus back in the day. I truly believe he was on the phone with the UVA coaches lol.

I randomly thought of him and looked him up on Instagram a few months ago. Has a lovely family, looks like he’s coaching and still reps the Tide. He’s also Rastafarian and post about Haile Selassie a lot so that’s interesting

Please tell me what evidence you have that shows Ty is a better quarterback? We watched Ty last year against USF and we also saw him last night. He did nothing in either one of those games to show that he’s better than a guy who finished 6th in the heisman race. He also has shown a tendency to make errant throws like last night on the interception. I hope Ty is a first rounder as Jalen will be also. Right now Milroe is quarterback 1. And if you don’t like it I suggest you start watching the games in the fourth quarter after Milroe and company have built a sustainable lead and Ty will be in.

Just saying it doesn't make it true. Look if Jalen went down to an injury I would have zero concern with Ty stepping right in other than the potential depth issue. I think they're probably 1A/1B when it comes to being able to run our offense successfully.

However saying Ty is objectively the better QB based on 34 in game pass attempts, none for TDs btw, and reviews in the off-season and fall camp saying he's made a lot of improvement and looks great is pushing it. Jalen was getting the same positive chatter off-season. And I've seen no one but you saying Ty was the best all off-season.

Jalen duped a lot of people into thinking we were holding him back as he feasted on Big-12 cupcakes before ultimately being exposed as the same QB he was at Bama when LSU shut him down (an LSU team that Tua and Bama torched that year).

Milroe would run away with the Heisman if Baylor was the toughest opponent on the schedule.

Would only argue Milroe would throw his way to the Heisman under those circumstances. Ty would have to do it do it with his legs of giving a weak schedule like that.
