Where has Kevin Riley gone ? He was making plays earlier this season and has been MIA recently.

He actually didn't whiff.

The DE lined up very wide and the RT couldn't get their without chip help. When we see that (our QB) we have to know there isn't help on that side and get rid of the ball quicker.

This is what KDB was referencing in the post game.

Instead Ty wants to hold it because it's 3rd down and gets hit and stripped. At that point Ty needs to see that pressure and just throw it away. It wasn't coming from his blind side and unlike Milroe he actually understands how to set up his blocking. He should have seen that and acted accordingly.

The pick six, we had 3 guys blocking 1 guy, and the linebacker came untouched up the middle.

You mean the running game that is #119 in the country? That running game?

Both RBs had whiffed blocks yesterday.

Personally, I think the constant rotation of backs is contributing to the problem. Neither one is able to get in any kind of groove.

IMHO Hill has earned the right to get more carries. I'm not a Jam hater because the OL obviously has room to grow but right now Hill is more productive.

Yep. It’s the truth. He can’t handle pressure at all.
he handles pressure fine, he just can't hang onto the ball when he gets hit. It's literally just a ball security issue. It's really dumb to say 'Ty can't handle pressure' with the clutch plays he's made over and over this season in extreme pressure situations.

In most of the cases he has gotten hit an instant before releasing the ball, when he's been at the most vulnerable. He needs to speed up his clock, but I think teams are taking some of his easy reads away from him.

Ty didn’t single handedly lose the game. It was not a great performance, but special teams lost the game as much if not more. Fumbling a punt, giving up a big return, and missing a gimme FG are much worse

A small part of this guys is teams are adapting to what we do well and to what we don’t do well. I’ll be honest, the way Hill was able to beat out yards yesterday against a really good defense gives me hope against lesser defensive team we could actually do something. Hill needs to clean up blocking but let’s roll the dice and premier him.

Regrettably we will probably not play another bad P4 defense this season.

Good news for EIU, bad news for AU.

Ty had like 250 passing yards in the first half yesterday. Take away the pick six or RW fumbling the punt return and we're talking about a completely different narrative today.

The pick six was an ill advised throw after a LB was coming completely unblocked in his face.

I think Ty tries to hero ball a little too much. So many times he's been shoestring tackled when he should have just tucked and run for 4-5 yards. Milroe would run too soon...Ty runs too late. I know he's trying to buy time for a route to come open, but sometimes you've just got to give up on a play if it isn't there and not take a loss.

I just don’t know what the hell happened the last quarter in a half. Our offensive production just ceased. It looked like we went back to our slow setup offense which is simply bad. We were in hurry up often in the first half and it was super effective

he tried same shite blindly throwing ball in 4th qtr when under pressure and he has shown that tendency earlier games roo

Ty needs to make the right reads on his quick routes (not throw that slant that was a pick six)
This is a great example of how stupid you are. Thats the hot route for the blitz. The ref blew the PI call that was the reason the ball doesn’t hit the receiver in the hands. Throw it there or take the sack are the only 2 options.

We started forcing the run. That’s basically it. We were gashing them through the air and then just reverted to making everything third and short

Ty had 31 attempts in the first half. He finished with 42.

Maybe there’s some fatigue there, undoubtedly, but you could see our drive structure changed significantly.

Drive 1: 3 Pass 4 run (two at goal line)
Drive 2: checkdown Run Pass
Drive 3: run run sack (which was a deep shot)
Drive 4: R R scramble P R R then we started throwing with a short clock

We took the air out of the ball with a one point lead
