Yeah I think that was the knock on him last year as to why he couldn't usurp Milroe.

I think that Ty is still really good. If you take away the 2 turnover plays yesterday, then we likely win by two scores, and his performance is considered really good.

Loss wasnt all on him but those two plays changed the game and allowed them to win.

He's a bright kid, and a student of the game, so I expect him to work his tail off to shore these things up for the Auburn game and going forward.

Bro…

I can easily tell some of you were not here when our QB was Spencer Pennington our led by a coach with the name Mike.

Other than that, how was the play Mrs Lincoln? Other than the two horrible plays most directly responsible for the loss, he played really good?!

Even if you set the aside, I disagree. He missed a half dozen or more throws and a number of reads that should be second nature to him at this point.

I’m not putting all the blame on Ty. Not by a long shot. But he shares a lot of the blame for yesterday’s loss. A lot. And if he plays like that on Pat Dye field, we will be in the Music City bowl.

Lucky pik 6?? - Great call on the blitz by the OU coach. Free blitz by the LB into Ty's face. OG (75) and RT (64) missed the blocking adjustment they should have made. Safety crashing down on Horton wrapped his right arm and hit him when the ball was still 2-1/2 ~ 3 yards away. Ty threw the ball inside (to pull horton in front of the crashing safety. The only other choice Ty could have made is sail the throw out of bounds. He made a good read but the officials missed the call.

Not sure I’d call it lucky, but a defender hit Horton and caused him not to be there. Not 100% sure but that particular throw may have been on target.

I’m more pissed off that we can’t run the ball consistently. This alone handcuffs Ty and the passing game. You can’t win a championship by being one dimensional.

Left off the part of my post where I said "but those plays changed the game, and allowed them to win". Cool, cool.

Point being that turnovers CAN be fixed, and if he fixes those then he's not average.

That’s fair. And I agree the loss wasn’t all on him (obviously). Very frustrating performance.

We would beat Auburn with either of these backups. With Ty I’m not so sure

The last two weeks have cost him immensely in the NFL.

Im fine with that. Id love to have Ty back next season. Dude is having a funk. Teams figured out some of his tendencies after getting tape...now he has to figure out how teams are adjusting to him. Dude is a smart guy I have faith

Ty has to move on or we're going to lose our 2 backups

The last 3 weeks he has been very average. But he is playing with below average running backs. Looking at Arkansas, their QB is really good and their running backs are better than ours.
They are better than us on offense because of those 2 positions. But their defense is terrible

Our 2 backups are good qbs. Both would be starters now at other places. Would be a huge loss. Let him move on to the NFL and start the Mack era.

If Mack starts next year, KR is probably gone

I like KR but who really knows who is truly the best of the 2 right now

How do we know Mack would be good?
