Changing the OOC games ensures our players do not get injured

No it doesn't.

These were not the problem.

Yes they are. We could schedule Oklahoma earlier in season. Mix in the bad OOC like bye weeks before our competitive games

So I take it that you had no idea that the SEC sets our conference schedule.

I do know that but we set our OOC schedule.

Technically you’re right. I should have said it limits the opportunities to get injured.

Some posters already think you're clueless. You don't realize that we aren't the ones who schedule the Oklahoma game? Seriously???

No he isn’t. He made the most of the shite sandwich he was dealt.

This is why everybody said that nobody worth a damn would want to follow Saban. And as I've said before, with the portal and NIL, you can't Coker your way into a national title anymore. Those days are over.

But not the dates. We are at the mercy of the open dates the SEC leaves us.

I will say I’m assuming because I obviously do not make schedules.

I assume scheduling a game with an FCS or G5 team wouldn’t be hard to schedule once you know the bye weeks.

Yes, but you said they could be strategically placed before big games. YOu have no control over having open dates before those. We started the season with three OOC slots, and ttat's pretty much every year. We can't do anything about that.

I said if we strategically placed them. Meaning, if we can. I didn’t say we 100% get the choice. I didn’t want to write an essay about it.

I’m all for giving the guy 2 more seasons, but we all just have to adjust expectations when we do that.

We all should have been intelligent enough to know the dominant run Saban gave us was over.

I think so. If half the things we’ve heard about the locker room are true, I would say he did a great job!

He was hired very late in the process, didn’t get an opportunity to recruit the players he wanted. He had to keep the people already on the roster and pick from the scraps left over.

Completely off topic but is there a way to do the emojis from your phone without remembering the code for it?
