As to kicking somebody's arse these days, in spite of the fact they may deserve it, you'll go to jail, and perhaps for a long time, or it'll cost you a lot of money to avoid it. All that bravado b.s. about beating somebody down is for the movies anymore, or for those dumbasses that either have nothing to lose and don't mind jail or are so stupid they don't know what they've gotten into
I disagree.

It's losing his temper that did it. Can't have a bouncer with a short fuse. Especially if everyone knows he has a short fuse. What he did legally constitutes as assault as well, but I doubt you'd ever see it pushed.
Also leave it to an Arkansas fan to figure it out. I'm impressed.

It would be great if he was a member of the Bunn clan.

If his dad were that kind of guy the kid wouldn't have turned out the way he did.

Trust me when I tell you don't want to go there....
My roommate right out of college was a very big dude about 6'7'' 275 lbs. Played basketball for Virginia Tech. Bench, role player white boy but got a lot of minutes playing in the ACC. Played with some NBA guys including a teammate who spent a lot of years with the Knicks. Anyway...exact same situation as this: drunk little short guy got into it with him on Virginia Tech's version of the Strip and took a swing at him. He retaliated and basically crushed his face in. Despite witnesses testifying that the little guy started and swung on him first, he got a big civil judgement against him. Judge looked at him and then looked at shorty with his face wired together and, despite witnesses testifying the little guy started it and swung first, made him pay all his hospital bills. On top of that he had to pay him $25,000 for pain and suffering. He was paying this punk $500 a month right out of school trying to work it off.
I got into a parking lot dispute outside my local breastaurant sports bar with some little millennial shite over some fender bender nonsense. Totally not my fault but the little shite (and his girlfriend) got aggressive and got in my face Threatened to get my bat out of my truck and told him to get fricked and left. This was witnessed by several people. Instead of letting it go, the little pussy called the cops and I got hit with a 3rd degree misdemeanor assault charge even though I never laid a hand on him. It got dismissed after a lot of time and expense. I found out the hard way you don't have to actually hit someone to assault them.
Kicking someone's arse is nothing but trouble and you best just walk away.

Exactly right, and as noted, you don't even have to lay a hand on a guy to get charged with assault these days, which is ridiculous, but it's a fact.
Sure, there are plenty of cases where a couple of guys, maybe inebriated, get into an altercation and beat the hell out of each other, neither of them reports it and nobody else calls the authority, but it's not what we're talking about.
All that aside, I hope the bouncer didn't actually get fired, or if so, I hope he gets another good job making more money. That little piece of shite will probably get his arse kicked more than once in his life. He'll get his comeuppance because as earlier noted, some people got nothing to lose and don't mind some time in jail. Some people will just lay back, follow you to your car later that night, and blow your arse away and to hell with your dear daddy and mama too. That's the reality these days.

Definitely Rounders. Never seen that guy before, but he's definitely got a bad case of little man syndrome.

That may be the case, and I will defer to your info, but back in the day, if somebody was in your face you could advise them to back off or you were gonna kick their arse (or at least attempt to do that) and at least in Alabama and Georgia, you weren't likely to go to jail for doing that. These days you are much more likely to go to jail or at least be charged, which will probably mean a trip to court, and I am pretty sure that in most municipalities, and perhaps all over, it's required of a law enforcement agency to charge somebody that makes even a passing threat.
So if any of you ever have a disagreement with somebody and the law comes, it's probably not a good idea to tell them that the guy threatened you, even if he did, because he's probably gonna say the same about you, and it's a pretty good bet that both of you will be charged.
All that said, I hope that little dip shite gets his arse kicked, but I probably already said that. Ok then, because I still hope so.
