It was false. Of all the speculation on what a scope procedure is an isn't, you absolutely CANNOT have that procedure on Saturday/Sunday and be back at practice on Monday. Tua's dad lied to Boz.

so he can practice and he can play, but why would he? It seems prudent to just let him rest.

A little confused here because a scope when they go in if they have to do something it is for a torn meniscus which is the cartilage not ligament. Ligament tear is a lot more serious then cleaning up the meniscus. I have had this done a few times and yes within a week walking around with very little issues.

Yeah...maybe I am confusing the terms "ligament' and cartlidge".....I have also had ACL surgery was a nightmare. A scope was nothing.

We won't know anything until after the season. Boz might be right.

We never knew anything about AJs shoulder or Gmacs ribs.

Maybe he can come in and toss a few touchdowns and call it a day Saturday. If they say he’s ok then I would like to see it for myself Saturday before he gets taken out.

Just so I can rest easy the two weeks up until LSPoo

No reason for Saban to lie, if he says he is gonna practice today people will see him. That's in a few hours.

Practice will reveal a lot. If he’s going through drills he’ll probably play, even if a bit gimpy. If he’s on a bike or something we’ll be seeing a lot of Jalen.

"Saban on Tua: “He’s probably better this week than he was last week.” Will practice today."

U don't practice a day or two after a scope to repair a meniscus.

I went through a scope procedure for a meniscus tear about 12 -13 years ago. Took me 6 weeks of rehab and even in an immobilizer. I also had an old tear in my ACL as well. An injury suffered some 20 years earlier!!!
Medicine has definitely gotten better and Tua is also in a lot better shape than I was when I was in my mid 30's!!

I trust Saban to do what's best for the team.

I don't trust a word that comes out of his mouth when addressing the media or the public.

How about when there are photos posted of Tua at practice today?

edit: and now apparently Vegas believes him. Bama now on the board as a 28.5 point favorite.

Someone on reddit said Tua got the procedure done last week. But then he played against Mizzu so idk about that either.

Maybe Boz got incorrect info from his source. Perhaps Tua had a knee fluoroscopy (injection for an MRI) and the source(s) mistakenly thought that meant he had arthroscopic knee surgery.
