didn't Boz say it was scoped already. If that was the case he would not be playing.

at all the people wringing their hands and trying to create drama. He's running with that big brace. That's awkward and hard to get used to. Sometimes he has to adjust it. Saban said he's not hurt. Sometimes a player coming off an injury like that has to regain confidence, and Saban said he's doing that. If it was seriously bothering him, they would have caught him last night.

If there's any healing that needs to happen, he'll have almost a month off after the SECCG. I never ceased to be amazed at the drama people here try to create.

I think the smart thing to do would be to let the starters play maybe two or three series against the Citadel and jump out to our usual 3 score lead and pull all the starters. Rest them.

No drama here DA. All I said was based on NS's comments and Tua's comments that they disagree with each other.

I’m told It’s a PCL strain and it will heal with time.

Never gonna happen, but would be fun to see the second string start, and bring in the first string if need be.

I'd love to see the first string get a bye week, and also for them to stand on the sideline, and cheer for the lesser known fellas.

Honestly I think that would be more entertaining than watching the ones obliterate someone.

of course he's not fine. It's like when someone has an ACL injury and they come back 'stronger than before'. No they don't.

Are you joking? I know many including myself that came back stronger. Most of the time the reason the ACL goes is because it has weakened/stretched over time and finally goes due to poor structural integrity of the ACL. When replaced/repaired and done correctly it is better.

I doubt very seriously that Saban and Co would risk a major injury if he could not go. As someone else mentioned a tiny meniscus tear can cause either a feeling of no support or even locked at times. 99% of the time does not even notice but when it does feels worse then it really does.

If we make it to the playoffs could Tua have the surgery and be good to go before the first game?

If it is indeed the meniscus?

If it is, in fact, frayed meniscus then the answer is probably yes. He could be scoped the day after the SECCG and be at or near 100% by New Year.

This needs to stop immediately! It's an in the moment thing I get it but Tua just has to be smarter about the jump celebrations. If he does atleast land on the non injured leg.

It's the same injury as 2013 Mariota.

Awesome news!! Sorry guys I get worked up over this injury shite. The past two years have just been brutal with injuries and it would suck for it to derail the best QB season long performance we’ve ever witnessed.

No need to apologize. He's the most important piece of the puzzle this season

How did this injury affect his season if you don’t mind?

Agreed. He makes the run game damn near unstoppable just because of the threat to throw even when he is 75% mobile.

Nice. So basicallly no matter what it is, if we survive the SEC we get a 100% Tua. Great news.
