Quinnen was double-teamed all night and was still the best player we had on the field on defense.

He can say what he wants to say. Besides, he’s right.

But, not preparing lies mainly on the shoulders of the coaches, and if he wants to be more accurate, he could say that, as well. And he’s still be right.

I actually gained respect for QW during that interview. He was extremely candid. You don’t see that everyday. He also said Clemson had a great team several times.

Our guys ain’t perfect, but ya gotta love them. For all they do for the program I can forgive a smile or laugh after a demoralizing loss and a stupid question from the media.

bullshite. Other than Williams, almost all of the rest of the starters on defense aren't very good and wouldn't have seen the field on our better defenses of the last decade.

Not giving any cred to Clemson’s defense.

The two INTs were more on him than the defense.

I don't see where Tua is in a position to call out anybody.

I'm not actually convinced you are really a Bama fan. You're going to have to do better to keep up this ruse.

You are the stereotypical Bammers.

Why do they need credit? They won the game.

Difference in the game was play calling and coaching.

Alabama and Clemson shared almost identical offensive stats except in 1 category - 3rd Down Percentage. Bama was around 20% and Clemson around 60-70%. You will get your arse beat every time with that statistic. It also tells a story of one team having the right play call in those situations. You can't tell me with the way the offense moved the ball at will that they just suddenly stopped executing on 3rd downs all night long.

Maybe the second interception, they completely baited him into the pick 6

They did no such thing.

Correct. It was a bad read, but an accurate pass is probably just batted down by the defender. Instead it was thrown well behind Jeudy.

They knew exactly where he was going to go with the ball once he saw where the blitz was coming from

I actually think they were a half second away from getting beat on the play. Tua threw it too early (not to mention way behind).

But if he throws it to the sideline there's nothing the defender can do but maybe bat it down, and if you watch it again, you'll see Smith is there to "rub" Jeudy's defender but couldn't due to where the ball was placed.
