Per Saban on ESPN

Sounds like it is much like Jalen. They believe he will be ready to go when they start practicing again.

Tua will actually have two weeks where he is off of the ankle. Also, unlike Jalen, Tua’s plant foot is his left foot and he does not run as much.

I assume the right since that is the one that caused him to go out.

All the kid has done is torch the SEC. But he has one bad game, where he was almost certainly not 100% health-wise, and now people want to dog him? Insane.

Someone on twitter said the pic tua put up shows it’s his left foot that got surgically repaired. Maybe this is totally wrong but how wild would that be if that were the case?

A true high ankle sprain can have a wide variety of recovery times. It’s good to know they have the best medical staff and facilities available. Hope he has a fast recovery.

Picture making the rounds on face book shows Shaun Alexander praying with Tua while he was on the cart in the stadium after the game. Alexander had his hand on the shoeless heavily wrapped left ankle.

Maybe they should start praying BEFORE games? That should end all our injury problems.
