Don't count out HF at Auburn. He has a huge rebuild to do... but he will amp up the scoring

Better find a QB.

Zach Smith called Rees the white Josh Gattis. He says they're both supremely overrated and they keep falling forward.

Do you also listen to Joe Rogan and Alex Jones, by chance?

Is that the same psycho that worked for Urban at Ohio St.?

With Grantham off to the Saints, I guess Pastor Mike won't be going anywhere

I also think that its telling that one of the best passing QBs in the nation went to ND for Rees to be his OC. Clearly he believed that Rees could help his draft stock.

Say what you will about Zach Smith but nothing on Rees' resume justifies being OC at Bama. Nothing. I hope if hired Rees is a success but he's not impressive.

Was Lane or Heupel interested in the QB from Wake? If not, I'm not impressed with a good ACC QB as some sort of indicator in Rees' coaching acumen.

I just hope we aren't getting a born on 3rd base guy who isn't a good coach. But, nothing on the resume indicates this guy is a stud.

It’s a shockingly unimpressive hire.

While it’s not a super exciting hire (if Rees is indeed hired), I think it will probably be alright. Saban has apparently been interested in Rees for a few years and had talked to him a time or two in the past about coming to Alabama, which means this hasn’t come out of nowhere.

Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t, but I think it’s fair to take a “wait and see” approach. It’s not a disaster of a hire.

Saban must be trying to turn our offense into UGA 2.0. Use of the TE is one of the best attributes of Rees. But, outside of that there's nothing that can't be found in a bunch of other guys.

Underwhelming for sure. But I am not so sure you want to agree with me

Saban gets the benefit of the doubt but if Rees is hired it's looking like Saban is making less impressive hires and moving towards hiring guys who are connected in the coaching business.

I thought this thread was wild to begin with and then someone decided to play Zach Smith's intro music . Everytime I think you all have pushed it to the limit you all up your game.

People can say what they want about Zach Smith but he was interviewed by Saban and was offered a job. So, he has a lot of insight plus he was born into the coaching business and worked for Urban for years.
