They aren't the best def in the country though.
Part of my issue with people who post threads like this make the attacks personal. Instead of posting a fact about something I said you started calling names and made it a personal attack.
People who post these threads think they have the right to insult, to post these threads but others don't have the right to make their own posts? Meh should we all think alike, should we all toe the same party line?
We should all act like the people we are talking to are right in front of us. Guaranteed there wouldn't be as much insulting going on.

I don’t understand the thinking that goes into comments like this. Having opinions on how your team is playing is part of being a fan. Wanting a player to get benched or a coach to be fired may be misguided but it doesn’t make you not a fan. If you care, you’re a fan.

Bama scores. 17-7, despite throwing a TD, bench the qb, we’re going to get blown out. Same people.
We go up 24-17, bench the QB, he sucks. The defense sucks, fire the coach.
We’re winning the fisking game and it’s the same comments by the same people.
So no, they’re not fans. They’re just trolls and should go root for the stinking Vols. That’s about their speed.

The fan outrage in the game thread was atrocious and vile. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it that bad. Embarrassing really. Honestly, it was worse than a TigerDropping game thread during an LSU game. It was THAT bad.
This whole site (from the Rant, to the poli and TV/Movie board) is being overrun with many a troll lately.

Yep. And if we had happened to lose this game or the game against AU and DeBoer went to UM, they’d be some of the first ones saying they’re glad he’s gone and never did like him, anyway.
We watched the same thing happen during the Shula era. If you criticized Shula in any way at all you weren’t, “a real Bama fan,” all the way to the announcement that he was fired. But, after he was fired, you couldn’t find anybody who disagreed with the decision.

It does get old every year when the defense gives up a first down on the first drive of the game and some fans go "Well, see I told you guys. Better luck next year!" It gets kinda ridiculous." It's like the fans want the defense to never give up a yard and the offense to gain 40+ every play. Just not realistic!!

Criticizing the team or a play call etc is fine.. it’s the “we suck, Auburns gonna kill us down there, Deboer needs to go” bullshite that gets old.
Especially when a lot of the “poo Nannie’s” posting that nonsense couldn’t line up 11 youth league players and run a play.

Now this is true! I see this all the time.
People just need to understand that there are pessimists and optimists. Even I lean on the pessimist side and unfortutunately express frustration negatively too quickly sometimes. Blame it on a character flaw and the greatest CFB coach of all time training me as a fan to expect excellence. But us quick tempered folks always come back home to reality. My mother is the exact opposite of me and its difficult to watch games with her at times, but it's just two different lenses we see through. Chalk it up to excitement, disappointment, or whatever and lets just move on.
