I don’t think college athletics will be for you moving forward.

Genuinely don't understand this. There's nowhere he can go that'll increase his chances of getting drafted. He's supposedly been making plenty in NIL at Bama. He seems to love Bama and Oats. I just don't get it.

He's probably got one last chance to make huge money in the US. I think he'll have a career in Europe. But his endorsement money will go way down over there. He's basically earned his own nil money through jelly fam. He'll not only get a bag, but if it's a high profile problem, he might earn even more than before.

And we also reaching the point in the off-season where teams who misplayed the portal are desperate. And he's a big of a get that's available at PG.

I love college athletics, but am I supposed to kiss JQs arse for leaving when he got plenty of PT here?

He gets plenty of opportunities to show what he’s got for the NBA.

Facts is that he isn’t going to make it in the NBA and he knows it. He’s getting what’s best for HIM which is go somewhere where he can pretend he’s a superstar and make more money.

He couldn’t compete here. He’s copping out for more money for himself. Cool, I don’t give a frick about him anymore because he’s not an Alabama player.

He doesn’t give a frick about us or he’d still be in crimson and white.

I know the guys transferring in don’t care about us either. It’s all about helping themselves.

However, I’ll always respect the guys who stay here more than anyone else.

That’s going to be a tiresome mentality to take because you’ll be constantly disappointed. I get being initially disappointed and even upset, but wish them the best and move on. Portal works both ways.

I am moved on. That’s literally what I said.

I’m not wishing him the best or the worst.

I don’t care. If he was here I’d wish him the best. He’s now going to be a potential opponent.

I currently work with Charvez Davis. Couldn’t be a nicer person. Very professional young man.

West Virginia grad transfer Joe Toussaint tells me that he's now also receiving interest from Alabama.

I prefer Allen Toussaint. But I'd be glad to get him.

First thing that comes to mind is a 3-and-D Noah Gurley type, who IMO was directly responsible for at least two additional wins last season.

I never really thought of him as a 3 and D guy, because he missed a lot of 3s. But Gurley stepped up huge in the last 3rd/half of the year. I actually liked seeing him take it to the hole more often. But he hit some clutch 3s towards the end.

Me too SOG. He won’t have the highs that JQ can have but he also won’t have the fricking disasters JQ could have also

Quin is definitely the hardest player to figure out if he was a net positive or net negative (for his overall career). But goddamn he definitely saved us in some huge games. He won SEC tournament MVP off the bench for a reason.

Personally, I've got no hard feelings. Especially if it's Seton Hall. Hell, Miami is basically South Jersey.

So he's either going home or getting a huge fricking bag. And with the NBA not appearing to be in his future, am extra couple/few hundred grand can make a huge difference in setting someone up for a comfortable life.

As has been stated I have no ill will about him leaving . The timing is where he kind of did the program wrong. We are scrambling and if he would have left earlier we would have had a better chance to replace him.

The one reason why I get people being mad. But the ones who are seem genuinely angry aren't complaining about that.

I think Alabama fans shouldn't be such cheap dates. JQ left the program in late June weeks after talking about how much he wanted to win another championship here. That's his legacy as far as I'm concerned. I don't wish him ill at all, but I'm not going to be rooting for him, and I think it's quite lame how many Bama fans are kissing his backside after he left the way he did.

And if he played D for Huggins, you know he's a tough and gritty defender.
