Pio, happy with the last roster spot addition? Appears Muss has a full bus now.

Chandler Lawson (6'-7" F), I think.

Started out in Oregon, played last couple of years with Memphis.

Should have one year left.

ETA: Went back and looked, and he only had 5 points in 20 minutes against us in that brutal game with them back in December. He was coming off an ankle injury, though.

Underrated post despite 10 upvotes.

I would like to officially retract my concern about Bama’s NIL game for as long as CNO is at the helm. This is going to be one heck of a decade for Bama basketball

ehh...Wish we were able to get more of a 5 guy but that will work.

SEC has upped its game the last 4-5 years.

According to Drew DeArmond it’ll be mid July. Huge.

In a perfect world either Jesse Edwards or Raequan Battle joins the WVU exodus and comes here.

WV was set to have a sweet sixteen caliber team. They had some talent.

Nick Smith Jr. most definitely hurt his stock by coming back.

And Musselman then benching him out of spite. The Nick Smith story should be a lesson to all good basketball recruits: never trust Musselman and never fall for that up front bribe. I'm glad Nick can get back with old AAU teammate Brandon in Charlotte and rebuild his career. Jordan Walsh also said he enjoyed the pre-draft workouts and Combine because he had been handcuffed at Arkansas - and he improved his stock in those workouts.

Jordan Brown, grad transfer from LA Rajin' Cajuns, 19 pts, 8 rbs a game.

They've been mentioned but unless someone else unexpectedly enters the portal as a grad transfer, I would target one of the WVU guys or Brown.

I wouldn't add a body just to add a body, I'd rather save the spot and hope for a reclass over a guy that'll be at the end of the bench and basically would contribute five fouls if needed.

We're another big man away from basically having a perfectly balanced roster IMO, if we somehow land someone that can give us 15-20 min productive minutes then that would be a grand slam.

Disagree. Oats isn't afraid to change the lineup every game. I suspect Oats will stick with 8 or 9 man rotation early in the year before narrowing it down to 7 or 8.

We need another vet that can play inside and outside as needed. The teams under Oats is known to have foul issues.

That's what I'd prefer, but every year he starts with a 10 or 11 man rotation and narrows it down to 10 or 11.

And injury issues. Happens every year. But I agree with you on holding a spot open- but only if the coaches know a top player like Aiden Sherrell can reclassify in December and contribute next year.

The way his teams tend to burn out at the end of the season, I'll take rest for the starters anyway we can get it.
