The rise in volume of creepy "step" family porn indicates his family is gonna end up getting fricked. Bama lock.

Good for the Celtics. It's about time something very fortunate happened to that franchise....

Jarace Walker having a higher All-Star percentage than Miller tells you all that you need to know about those projections. I like Walker, but he's mostly a defensive prospect and those type prospects have a very low All-Star probability historically. Clowney's 22.2% chance of being an All-Star in his 4th year is absurdly high for the same reasons.

Watts on Stevenson

quote:

The recruitment of Jarin Stevenson - Seaforth - PF (on3.com) has been shrouded in mystery from whether he will end up in the 2023 or 2024 class, to when he will commit and of course to whom he will commit. This weekend we got the date that the North Carolina top 20 standout will indeed commit Wednesday (June 21st). Not sure on the time or how he will announce it yet, but he is expected to make a college choice. UA, Virginia and UNC are his finalists. As of Tuesday, sources close to both of Bama's top competition have indicated that they are in the dark and we believe he has not told many people, if any, of his decision. That includes college staffs. With that said BOL is giving Alabama more than a puncher's chance here. Nate Oats has done a terrific job building this relationship and working the recruitment. And if we had to pick, we would choose the Tide winning out in this one. Again, we can't stress enough how secretive this recruitment has been, but UA has done a good job and some of the tea leaves lead us to Tuscaloosa. Still have not got an answer on which class yet but one source believed it would be 2023 when all is said and done

I'm honestly still in a bit of shock we're in it for a top recruit that grew up wearing Tar Heel blue. Reading the tea leaves through his recruitment, I actually feel pretty good heading into tomorrow. It would be an incredibly tough pull but a commitment and re-class could put this season into a different perspective.

I mean it kind of makes sense. I'd have no issues with Watford if he had gone to play for literally anyone besides Will Wade. UNC is clearly where Stevenson's heart is, but if you're hitching your wagon to a coach Oats looks like a much, much safer bet than Hubert right now.

Adding an athletic 6'10" 200 lb 5* is always a good thing. I especially like the fact that he can handle the ball well enough to grab a board and start a fast break. Looks like he can shoot a bit from the perimeter as well. I'm seeing a lot of Noah Clowney in him when watching some highlights. Really hope Nate can land him tomorrow.

Jamie Shaw - National Recruiting Analyst

Jarin Stevenson comes from a basketball family. His mother played at North Carolina, and his father was a 1,400-point scorer at Richmond before playing professionally overseas for ten-plus years. Stevenson is skilled on the offensive end; with solid size, he can push the break or shoot the three. He can fall in love with the three-point shot. He has a quick release and consistently has good balance, and is shot-ready off the catch. While he is still growing into his frame and athleticism, he has solid wiggle and excellent hand-eye coordination. He is a good athlete, better vertically than he is laterally, which will lead to questions about where he defends. There is good floor vision, and he is able to push the break off the rebound. Can be a good area rebounder when he locks in. Stevenson is a matchup problem, with his skill away from the basket. Prefers facing up. Would like to see him develop a little more alpha, and be ok taking over a game. His efficiency numbers have been high, consistently at the highest levels.

Nimari Burnett will graduate from Alabama on August 5th, thus allowing him to be immediately eligible for Michigan next season as a grad transfer, per his father.

Averaged 5.6 PPG last season at Alabama.

One of the top on-ball defenders in college basketball.

They might want to call Jaden Bradley's family about Oats and Alabama

While they're at it they should probably ring up Clowney's family too seeing as how Oats developed him into a 1st rounder. Maybe just maybe Bradley wasn't as good as advertised out of high school.
