I still believe that Miller's groin injury during the SEC tournament final was the primary reason for his showing in the NCAA tournament.

In the 3 game SEC T he was 19-45, 11-29. (That includes 5-20, 4-14 in the game in which he was injured.)
In the 3 game NCAA he was 8-41, 3-19.

I'm not sure why this is rarely if ever mentioned.

A license to carry is not the same as a registered gun.

Well the Walton thing sucks. Thought he was a perfect fit.

Oh well, can't have any nonsense derailing next season before it begins. Set a new tone. Moving on.

Seems like Jaden Bradley is going to end up at Arizona, Memphis or NC State.

That would be huge x2

Also, have we figured out where on the 6'7 to 6'11 scale he actually is?

Based on pictures of him standing next to teammates who also have recruiting profiles, he's anywhere from 6'9" to 7 feet. Definitely taller than 6'7" though.

Yea, I just found some recent videos of him playing in the last month and he definitely looks to be somewhere in the 6'8-6'9 range. 6'11 seems to be pushing it a bit.

Seems like we're moving on from the Walton discussion but just wanted to throw in my 2 cents considering I wasn't on here yesterday evening.

I don't think this is going to be a black eye on the program, dude wasn't even enrolled yet and Oats took care of it swiftly. People will forgot about this guy before the season even starts, looking forward to seeing what Wing we take a loot at for a replacement. There's a little smoke around Tre White I believe. Still have plenty of time in the portal to find a new guy.

Also, if Aiden Sherrell news is correct that would be absolutely huge. We're back to looking like we need to lock down a starting 4 and 3 again, Sherrell could be a day 1 starter.

Can we please figure out how to stop recruiting idiots?

Here he is standing next to Jahki Howard who is listed at 6'6". If Howard is 6'6", Sherrell looks like a legit 6'10", doesn't he? I know they aren't exactly standing up straight and all, but clearly looks to be more in the 6'10"-6'11" range than 6'8"-6'9". Unless Howard is more like 6'4" than 6'6".

ETA: I just looked him up on Twitter and it says 6'11" in his bio.

What is the rule for summer trips? I thought I heard that since we took a trip last year, they can’t this year. Thanks in advance.

He looks to be about 1-1.5 inches taller than his teammate Jason Asemota, who the recruiting websites list as 6'8" or 6'9". I think he's probably right at 6'10".

Unless the rule was changed, you can only have one every four years.

Could also be one of those situations where he's like 6'9.5" in socks and 6'11" in basketball shoes which would be totally fine because we aren't going to be playing him in socks too often.

Very possible. I'm not sure why they bother measuring basketball players in socks or barefoot. It's kind of pointless. It's not like the extra inch of height they gain from putting on shoes doesn't count when they're trying to block a shot or something. No one says "oh he only got a fingertip on that one so no way he blocks it if he was playing barefoot."
