Wrightsell Jr, Cal Fullerton transfer, will also be on campus April 20-22.

Wrightsell averaged 16 ppg and led the Titans in scoring, assists, and steals. The 6’3 combo guard shot 38% from 3 and 81% from the FT line.

SF Chaney Johnson – Alabama-Huntsville Chaney Johnson was named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Year and earned his second straight first-team All-GSC award. Johnson, who is listed as a sophomore on the D2 Alabama-Huntsville roster, is a 6-foot-7 wing from Alabaster, Alabama, which is just shy of 25 miles outside of Birmingham. Johnson scored over 20 points six times this season and averaged 15.9 on the season, along with 6.6 rebounds. He has also shot 36.8 percent from three over the last two seasons. He entered the transfer portal at the end of last week, and already power six programs are reaching out. Expect more to check in as his name continues to circulate.

This guys sounds like a good player that would be a nice fit. We’ve contacted him.

Apparently Arkansas is going to pick up another portal guard today in El Ellis.

He was the only competent part of the Louisville train wreck. At what point are they full though? Some people were throwing out the idea that they are planning to have guys "walk on" and pay their own way with NIL, which I initially discounted because of how little you can do in terms of contact with a player before he is considered a recruit, but at this point I'm starting to wonder.

So Arkansas has, Devo Davis, Khalif Battle, Tramon Mark, Jeremiah Davenport, El Ellis, and Menifield, for their 3 guard spots.

Are they all gonna play 15 minutes a game? I dont get it.

Muss got upset that injuries derailed their season, so he's expanding the roster to include 5 high level D1 players at each position to make sure it doesn't happen again. Smart.

In the past, hes usually played his main guards 35 or 40 minutes a game and they are out of gas by the elite 8.

Seems like he is making a shift in strategy.

I really like the group of transfers we've gotten to campus. Hope we grab 1-2 of them to add to Walton.

Chaney Johnson is nice. Ive seen him play. He can play. Can get to basket and his shooting needs to be polished but it's there.

That’s not good. There was a recent quote where Oats had told Pate he’s our top target.

Need some big time studs in the 24 class to reup. Missing on Dink is not a good start.

Still amazes me even in basketball our staff gets poached. I mean basically our entire staff. Absurd.

Nate has his work cut out for him.

It’s either Arkansas or Pro. Those are the only 2 willing to pay enough $$$

Yeah, we've been in on Pate hard for what feels like a couple years at this point, and to not even be a "factor" in his decision is a tough pill to swallow. People are saying it's Arkansas or NBL. I'll leave it at that...

Losing his main lead recruiter in Hodgson might have hurt with that. Might not have landed him anyway, but Hodgson leaving might've been enough to take us out of contention this late in the game. Just spitballing since I have no inside info.

From what I've seen from "insiders" it's been trending that way for a while now. So much so that I was surprised to hear about Nate telling him he's our #1 priority. Regardless, I'm sure losing our staff would've hurt us too much to land him anyways. I was holding out hope that he'd be making his decision later so we could close the gap.

I'm really surprised to hear some of these transfer rankings having Tramon Mark down in the 50s compared to some of these other targets.

How is a 6'5 guard that averaged 30 minutes, 10pts, and 5 boards starting every game for a Top 5 Houston team not a Top 50 transfer?

He dominated Auburn in the 2nd round of the tournament at the BJCC with 26 points and 9 rebounds.
