Jim Whitesell (Buffalo coach) has to be the betting favorite to land on our staff, right?

I hope not Pringle was a great scoring option at the 5. Hope the coaching staff can find a significant role for him.

Possible Portal Guys: Burnett JB

They said post game they were returning. The teams winning in the tourney have older players. These two really good players have only last year’s experience. I don’t know, but I suspect they will be here next year- especially since they said so.

Quinerly has to be gone. Would love Keyon. Im guessing Oats Detroit ties will help out here. Looking at Keyons highlights he seems to be off the ball a lot.

Can Burnett even transfer again? He’s already transferred once

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bradley and Burnett hit the portal.

Wouldn’t Burnett have to sit if he transferred again though? Can’t see him wanting to do that.

I hate to say this but Burnett looked mid division one level to be honest with you. He has major holes in his game and he needs a lot work this off season.

He has trouble dribbling but before his injury he was the best 2 guard we had on roster. He was a lockdown defender and he was very efficient from deep. I believe he can get back to that point faster than JB develops.

From a basketball insider on 247 who’s extremely plugged in:

“Definitely heartbroken with way the season ended. And as bad as fans feel trust me the players and staff feel 10x worse.

Lots of movement going on behind the scene with roster management. Believe there are going to be some big surprises on who we sign and also some real tough decisions that have to be made considering current roster. I trust the staff 100% with the decisions they make.”

Thank you for posting.

This is has me coming up with some weird possibilities.

Admittedly this clip is about the only thing i've really seen of Keyon Menifield, but I like it so far. He's a little smaller, but he looks like a more confident Kira Lewis. I can easily see the fit, especially if JQ leaves.

He was objectively terrible the rest of the season after he was publicly said to be at the scene of the shooting and everything started swirling around Miller. JB wanting a fresh start somewhere else is probably a possibility worth considering, but he’ll probably be back. Hopefully the off-season allows him a mental reset.

Sounds like one of those vague posts from an "insider" that's really just a bunch of empty platitudes you can apply to almost every single team in the country and can never be disproven. There is always a lot going on behind the scenes with roster management now because of the portal.

The question every year with every player who isn't a well established starter, especially freshmen, is always whether it is worth spending another season trying to develop his game if you think you can get someone from the portal who doesn't need that development. Personally I hate it, but it's just what the portal has done to college basketball. You either establish yourself early or you might get pushed out the door.

That's probably just a coincidence. Aside from that one ridiculous article from the known goat fricker Joseph Goodman no one really said a word about Bradley. All the hate was directed at Miller. Bradley fell apart because he was unwilling/unable to shoot the ball and he's very right hand dominant. Once teams figured that out they just sagged off of him and shaded him to his right hand, which basically neutralized the only way he could score.

Honestly his situation is one of the few instances where I think Oats should give a player more leeway with their shot selection. Bradley knocking down a few runners or pulling up from ~8 feet may have forced the defense to re-adjust and opened things back up for him a bit.

many and all players should have had the green light for an 8 foot stop and pop uncontested shot.

I get the logic behind it and wouldn't be terribly upset if it came to fruition tbh.

I don't disagree at all.

But that is the type of post that can really get the creative juices flowing for what we might do.

i saw a twitter post from I think his mom that said something to the fact that "you know what you got to do".

I have a hard time understanding how a mcdonalds AA had no outside shot coming into college. and I think his FT shooting was under 70%
