Yeah, and it seems like literally every kid who hits the portal gets a call from Arkansas within 30 minutes of entering it. Honestly I bet Musselman would call a kid at halftime of a game if he hit the portal before the season ended. In terms of recruiting grind he's probably the closest thing to Saban in college basketball.

Musselman loves those Walmart recruiting specials. They don't call home Bud Walton Arena for nothing.

2024 Top25 prospect Cam Scott is nearing a decision
Cam Scott, the No. 33 overall prospect in the 247Sports Top150, is down to six schools with plans of taking two more visits in the coming weeks before making a decision next month, he told 247Sports.
The 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard out of Lexington (S.C.) finalists include Auburn, Florida State, Kansas, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas but there's one school lurking outside of the top six that could sneak up - Alabama.
He discussed all the latest including who he plans to visit and when he hopes to commit with 247Sports along with update thoughts on each program at the Chick-Fil-A Classic.
Auburn: "Coach Bruce Pearl he really has a nice home there, he made me feel really at home once I got there and just the way they care about each other and want to see everyone get better."
Florida State: "I have been talking to Florida State for a while. Just coming in as a long wing who can get up and down the floor, not playing a lot of minutes but quality minutes, coming in and doing my job quick and then getting a breather. The way they play and the way coach Ham has developed players to get to the League and stay in the League is something I have always looked forward to."
Kansas: "It really speaks for itself and just seeing what they have and how they developed players with four and five stars and I know they had some people that you might have heard of and then they come in and blow up on the big stage. They give everybody a chance and they have a very good coaching staff. I know they have very good player development."
South Carolina: "I just really like what he [Lamont Paris] has going on. I really look forward to seeing what he does with GG [Jackson]. It's going pretty well now so seeing where he's going with that and seeing the recruiting class that is coming in. I am cool with some of those guys coming in."
Tennessee: "Just going up there it felt really comfortable watching how they play and get up and down the floor. Seeing the way they developed Julian [Phillips] to become an all-around player is something I was really looking at, especially with him coming from down here. I am just really looking at their development process and looking at how they play."
Texas: "I like the way they're developing. Looking at all their facilities and accessibilities that they have to certain things around the country is something that I am interested in and player development is something that I am really looking forward to. They have a really good player development program there."
While those are his final six, he did mention that other schools have been talking with him, one of which was in attendance at the Chick-Fil-A Classic - the Alabama Crimson Tide.
While schools are still trying to make their pitches, Scott is ready to wind this process down and come to a decision but not before making a couple more trips.
"I am looking to taking one or two more to Kansas and Tennessee," said Scott.
He doesn't have any dates in mind or set yet but it will need to be soon based on his timeframe for a decision.
"I am trying to get it done by February," he said. "I am trying to get it done quick."

4-star Aiden Sherrell breaks down official visits; updates recruitment
Aiden Sherrell is the No. 44 player in the 2024 On3 Consensus. Through nine games in the Overtime League, the 6-foot-10 center is averaging 17.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks.
“I’ve expanded my game this season,” Sherrell told On3. “I’m bringing it up the floor more. Defensively, I’m guarding multiple positions. I’m doing better and still working on becoming a leader. I watch a lot of Anthony Davis. With his size and versatility, he impacts the game on both ends of the floor.”
The four-star continues to get better, and college programs are already prioritizing him. On3 caught up with Aiden Sherrell after a recent live viewing to talk about official visits and get an in-depth update on their recruitment.
“I’ve taken three official visits so far,” Sherrell said. “I’ve gone to Alabama, UNLV, and Michigan State.”
Sherrell talks visits
Alabama: “They produce guys who are long and lengthy, guys like me who are very versatile. The relationship with the coaching staff is what brought me out there. I have built a great relationship with all those guys. When I got out there, I got to see the environment, the intensity of their practices is high, and that is why they are so productive right now.”
Michigan State: “It’s like a family up there for sure. They brought me in, and it was all love up there. When we went to the practices, they were very intense; he pushed his guys. I got a great relationship with the coaches there too.
“They said I could come in and be productive on both sides of the floor. They want to play me inside and out. Joey Hauser will be gone by the time I get there, so I could come in and help them out.”
UNLV: “They have a great program; they’re a winning program. I’ve developed a great relationship with them; we talk a lot. I love the environment out there, of the school and the area.”
Sherrell talks recruitment
“We’re not talking visits,” Sherrell said. “But I hear a lot from Michigan and Oklahoma.”
Oklahoma: “Coach (Porter) Moser produces and develops guys like me. They want me to come in and be a lengthy threat, a versatile guy that can play inside and out. I could definitely see myself fitting in with how they play.”
Michigan: “I have a great relationship with Coach Juwan (Howard); we talk a lot. I could see myself thriving in that offense.
“We have heard from Texas and Kentucky, too,” Sherrell said. “They haven’t offered yet.”
In his words
“My decision will really come down to the school I feel can develop me the most,” Sherrell said. “The program that prepares me and builds me up to get to and be ready for the next level.
“I’m still wide open right now and don’t really have a timeframe or date yet. I would like to start narrowing down my list before the Summer.”

Sounds pretty positive for us.

Watching some videos of him on YouTube, if I didn't know any better I'd say he's Clowney's twin. Very similar physical attributes and playing styles. Hope we can get him on board.

I thought the same thing when I watched his highlights.

I’ve watched philon, holt and RJ this season. Philon is easily the best of the bunch (holt still a freshman). RJ can play, but I’m not as confident in him doing it against sec competition. He’s also dealing with some legal issues, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

What is the legal issue? I saw it rumored on another site and previously on here (may have been you) but no one has posted what it was.

All I can say is this, if the legal issues are actually true, we’d want him as far away from this program as possible. He would be dropped out of the class immediately.

Then he starts missing games recently and allegedly has an ankle monitor on. The rumors to what it involves are serious enough that I don’t really want to post it without better sources than what I have now.

Are we talking about a violent crime, sex crime, drugs?

How old is he?
If he's 18+ or a juvenile charged as an adult, the arrest report is going to be public record.

I was going to go through your posts to see what you wrote. But then i saw you have 52000+. So I'm just gonna have to live with vagueness.

It was vague back then too, but it was on page 693.
