Have to admit they have a pretty great leader though. I love Kim Jong Un

Kim is the leader of Best Korea.

Winnie the Pooh is the leader of West Taiwan.

Skimming this thread after a few weeks away, and I guess I’m a bit surprised to see that Miller and Clowney will probably go 1-2 in next year draft. It’s encouraging.

I hope we don’t beat their arse too badly. I wouldn’t want a Summer Exhibition basketball game to start WW3

Let's be realistic. Wembanyama is going #1 unless he hurts his knee and the subsequent evaluation reveals he's actually just Greg Oden in a beret. 2-3 overall is far more likely.

I try to hold expectations in check, especially for scrimmages we can't even watch, but I think it's safe to say Miller is probably the real deal and there's probably a bit of hesitation since we were kinda burned by JD last year.

I also love seeing Burnett's box score lately, it's nice to pair his stats so far with what Oats said about his improved shooting. If that translates to the regular season, he could easily be the second best player on the team.

I'm still setting modest expectations on Griffin and Clowney but I do think they're going to contribute right out of the gate.

I'm very eager to see how rotations shake out, it does seem like the one thing for certain is Welch already has his "shooter off the bench" role carved out.

For reference the China National Team beat the Hornets in a summer league game in 2019. That Hornets team had notable players like Miles Bridges, Devonte Graham, Cody Martin, Jalen Mcdaniels, and PJ Washington.

We might not win today

Also depends if they are truly playing their players of if this is more of a B team.

You never know with these things.

Just read up a bit from a Chinese media source. They made an early exit in the quarterfinals last month in the FIBA Asian Cup (lost to Lebanon) which has fired up some people and led to calls for the team to get in better shape. The article specifically mentioned this month's tour, so I would expect their "A" squad.

I don't think it's viewable.

Anybody run across a site or Swish-like app for the gamecast on this one?
