Watching that Clowney highlight is the first time I've thought Nate isn't crazy for leaving a scholarship open. I still don't like the move. But if Clowney and Griffen and set to be legit contributors, I can step back from the ledge a little bit. I have had high expectations for Pringle too.

Looks like he didn't really play on the big time summer circuit (his AAU team isn't one of the elite ones and I don't think he went to any of the big national things). So, might just be a "we set a ceiling on guys we don't see compete enough against the other best players" thing, which I kind of get.
That’s what I gathered too.

Him being a guy who wasn’t on one of the “showcase” circuits for AAU and plays in a small HS Basketball market is SC, it’s hard for predictors to really know how to rank a guy. Probably even more-so for big men, who rely on their guards to determine how many good looks they’re going to get to some degree, especially if they’re not great ball handlers.

Glad he seems to already be outpacing the expectations he came in with.

I know it’s early, but I could see this class surpassing the Sexton, Herb, Petty, Reese, and Galin Smith class as the best of at least the past couple decades, maybe ever. Honestly not sure whether Wimp may have had a stud class to surpass these at one point. Either way, those are big shoes to fill, but I could definitely see it happening.

I've got to learn some new faces in the next few months. It's weird our team being almost brand new in the span of a year.

Let's make some noise in March fellas!

They looked athletic as always but it was really hard to judge them because their competition was BAD like everybody else.

They shot the ball well from deep against them. Oscar looked the same still bullying people in the paint. Collins has the potential to be scary good. Reeves might be a huge pickup for Calipari because he's a offensive minded guard period. Wallace & Livingston both looked good in their first collegiate action.

Raymond Pulido, an offensive linemen we are supposedly about to get a football commitment from, is from Apple Valley, CA.

Apple Valley is on the Northeastern side of the San Gabriel Mountains (opposite Los Angeles, the dry desert side) and borders Hesperia, CA.

Hesperia, CA is home to............

Two Bammer athletes from the Victor Valley region of California in a 5 year period (~500K people). Who woulda thunk it!
