Hopefully that doesn’t bite us in the arse down the road.
We will get another shot in a couple of years after he's had 2-3 decent but unspectacular years at UTk. Many of us will insist that he is a star being held back by an old school, defense first coach and he would be a huge portal signing for us. Then he will commit to Jacksonville State or something.

So who are the guys we are really pushing for in the 23 class?

247 updated their 2023 rankings today. I’ll get the first page updated tonight.

Seems like our coaches followed Jakobe Walter around every game.

I think we give Brody Peebles a look if he continues to improve and wants to transfer.

Texas Tech has landed a commitment from Elijah Fisher.
The Canadian guard was considered one of the top players in the class of 2023, but is expected to reclassify and play for the Red Raiders this season.
Was one of our 2023 targets.

Funny enough, I saw Barry Dunning graduate last Friday. Hope that one doesn't bite us in the arse (even though he doesn't really fit what us or Auburn likes to do).

Texas Tech is a finalist for every transfer. They must be spending out the arse

Just glad they ran out of money when Welch made his commitment lol

Interesting because I wouldn’t figure there’d be a lot of NIL money in Lubbock TX

Texas Tech has success under Beard. The boosters probably don't want to see that come to an end. They also have no prayer outspending on a football team with an 85 player roster. But they can in basketball with on 13 on a roster.

Lot of alums in a wealthy state. I'm guessing they have no issues paying to sustain their basketball program, which they love.

All Texas schools are gonna be fuxking loaded with cash.

This is the truth, and their state laws allow the direct payoffs we are seeing at A&M and Texas- and no doubt Texas Tech too. Wild wild West. Nobody is paying any attention to NCAA prohibitions. Reportedly, UNC is the leader for Mayer though. UNC hasn’t worried about the NCAA since they skated on the academic fraud.
