I like Goodman.

Alabama schedule isnt even halfway done and they already have to play……1,2,6,8,18,and 22 and are in a Thanksgiving tour ent with 3,13, and 20. I don’t think Oats is lessening the schedule toughness

It was a joke Bamafan. A Joke
I figured you were joking but I just saw someone like 5 minutes ago saying he could be good for us next year so I’m just trying to put that to bed quickly before anyone starts being serious about it

will target a combo guard, a skilled wing and a stretch four.

Goodman is pretty connected to Oats so he might have gotten this from Oats mouth.

Agreed. Another first weekend exit and I actually think his future there may be in question. I don't think he'd get fired, but 2023-2024 would very likely be a Final Four or bust type year for him.

Early preview by Aaron Torres:

quote:

24. Alabama Crimson Tide

Key Returnees: Noah Gurley, Charles Bediako, Juwan Gary, Darius Miles, Nimari Burnett (redshirt)

Key Departures: Jaden Shackelford, Jahvon Quinerly, Keon Ellis, James Rojas, JD Davison, Alex Tchikou (transfer), Keon Ambrose-Hylton (transfer), Jusuan Holt (transfer)

Key Additions: Brandon Miller, Jaden Bradley, Rylan Griffen, Noah Clowney, Nick Pringle

A season that started with so much optimism (wins over Gonzaga and Houston in December) turned into a disaster late, as the Crimson Tide simply couldn't get out of their own way down the stretch. But in the midst of an off-season overhaul, I'm intrigued by this Crimson Tide team.

Gone are stars Jahvon Quinerly and Jaden Shackelford, as well as a bunch of back-of-the-bench players via the transfer portal. And in their place will be one of the top recruiting classes in the country, including a pair of McDonald's All-Americans, Brandon Miller and Jaden Bradley.

The Tide needs to hit the portal hard to find depth at the guard spot, but former McDonald's All-American Nimari Burnett (who missed this year with injury) should provide an instant impact.

This team is young, and with a bunch of new pieces - but after last year, that might be a good thing. I like this squad.

UConn and Arizona are the latest to show interest in Belmont transfer Will Richard, source told @Stockrisers. He will take an official visit to Florida on Thursday, his first visit on schedule.

I’m a little surprised we never even contacted him.

We should sign this kid if for no other reason than he looks like a bigger, goofier Mac Jones.

Congrats to @arrintenp22 on earning an offer from Alabama!

Arrinten Page

Looks like he’s a 6’9” forward from Georgia in the 2023 class.

I was expecting the 49% to be both an outlier from his career percentage and based on a handful of attempts. It was way higher than his previous three years (35%, 33%, 31%) but it came on 151 attempts (74/151). That's nuts.

Also had a double-double against the only P5 team they played (Wake Forest).

One other nugget - he only had one game after January 26 (9 total games) in which he shot less than 50% from 3. And he was 5/11 in that one (45%).

Yes, and Oats just spent about 20 minutes on Goodman's podcast at the Final Four (I think it was last Friday). Saw the video, and at end of Oats segment, Goodman walked off with him talking, so they do talk, and Oats tends to say more than he probably should anyway - like the part in the segment when he was talking about having a visit from a possible transfer from the Ivy League (without naming Llewelyn) "who has to go home and write a 70 page paper. 70 pages?! Can you believe that..." He is not a big secret keeper.

Y'all remember Coach Ya - Yasir Rosemond? He's the lead recruiter at Indiana for the Arrinten Page kid we offered a scholarship to today.

It's a Princeton professor. You expecting Mr Garrison to be teaching the class?
