Do we have a great culture tho? Just from the outside looking in it seems like players are always looking for a way out.

Louisville head coach Kenny Payne has hired Duke assistant Nolan Smith as his associate head coach, per @MarcJSpears.
The former Blue Devils star was on staff at Duke since 2018. A Louisville native, his father played for the Cardinals.
Kenny Payne is going to put Louisville back in the mix pretty quickly.

Noah Locke, SG from Louisville, just entered portal. He's got some decent numbers and some better shooting years at Florida. There are better options out there at this moment though.

He had better shooting percentages at Florida. Some of his struggles at Louisville probably came from who he played with.

Played around with Torvik's Roster projection. Tried to make some additions from the portal that seemed to make sense for the top SEC teams (and mostly that these teams had been in contact with).
The "rank" is where those efficiency numbers would fall in Torvik's 2022 rankings
For us - we add Sears (PG), Lolley (SG) and Bridges (SF). Sears and Bridges we've reached out and Bridges is visiting, so those are reasonable. Lolley is a wild card but with Shack gone another wing seems like a need, he's a good defender and shoots it relatively well plus he's from the South (Metro ATL).

5th place behind Auburn?
You are supposed to use your stat powers for good not evil.

Sounds like an Auburn lock in my opinion. Pearl doesn't let ATL metro kids slip away a 2nd time, no sir

Probably doesn't fit what they need as much as he would with us. Long wing defender who has a decent 3PT history.
He did originally sign at Virginia Tech with Buzz, though ,I think, so A&M might be an option if they want him.

He also originally committed to Georgia. Maybe White tries to pull him in since Oquendo left. Dad played for LSU but don't think he goes to that dumpster fire.

Wonder who Oquendo has heard from? Haven't seen much about him on the tweeters.

No clue yet on him. This was all that was on his timeline before he committed to Georgia.
It is interesting that he went to the same JUCO as Ellis though.

He's put up some good numbers against some P5 teams. Played against Auburn, Xavier, Miss St and others. He's a player like Oscar form UK. Not going to shoot any 3pt but a good double double guy.
Like his OFF/DEF rating numbers.
