Rylan tagged Nigel on his IG a few minutes ago. Wonder if he knows him or is trying to recruit him? Idk. Weird timing tho.

I like what I'm seeing from Pack. He's more of a prototypical 2 guard but has good enough ball handling to serve as a secondary PG. He uses both hands well handling the ball but is left hand dominant dribbling (unusual since he shoots right handed). He's quick and aggressive and looks to be a tough defender, but only 6' which eliminates some of the defensive length we want. If we could pull he and Sears, we could definitely score but would be very short in the backcourt. It says Sears is 6'1" but he looks shorter than Pack on film.

He doesn't get to the line a whole lot; so, with his high volume 3pt shooting, he probably doesn't attack the rim as much. I know we need our guys to be able to dribble drive and he does appear to have the quickness to it.

So far, he looks like a very good fit on film.

I'd say they're an either/or. Playing a couple of ~6 foot guards kinda puts us back where we were this year. You can pair one of them with Burnett and Bradley and be fine because those guys both have good length, but I don't think you could play them together and survive defensively. Unless Pack is like a Chris Paul level defender or something and I'm unaware of it.

SEC Historical Ratings updated for 2022

Postseason accomplishments are "season ending with" (so, for instance, Arkansas gets 15 pts for an Elite 8 this year, not 15 for E8 + 10 for S16 + 5 for appearance).

NATIONAL RUNNER-UP - 40 pts
FINAL FOUR - 30 pts
ELITE 8 - 15 pts
SWEET 16 - 10 pts
R32/64 - 5 pts
CONFERENCE TITLE (SEC/ACC/B8/SWC) - 15 pts
CONFERENCE TOURNEY TITLE (see above) - 7 pts

1. KENTUCKY (2,460)

2. ARKANSAS (869)

3. FLORIDA (573)

4. MISSOURI (467)

5. LSU (432)

6. TENNESSEE (365)

7. ALABAMA (364)

8. TEXAS A&M (294)

9. MISSISSIPPI STATE (201)

10. AUBURN (179)

11. VANDERBILT (169)

Fine with me. I wasn't all that intrigued by him. Kinda seemed like a less physical Riley Norris.

I don't mean that as a shot at Norris though. He was tough as shite and shot the ball decently. But if you take away the tough as shite part you aren't left with much.

So, I'm out of the loop in a ton of things. Pretty much since Mardi Gras, I've popped this thread a couple times, and tried to catch up. So, I've got a couple questions.

I've got the McDonald's game recorded. I really only give a shite about seeing Bradley and Miller. Should I watch it?

Now that high major and players from tournament teams entering the portal, was anything I read a week ago still relevant?

I was at a music fest during the first week of the tournament. Which fanbase melted the hardest on the rant?
