Great news to start the night.
Going to be interesting with 5 commits now if we keep pressing those two Canadian guys.

I'm no expert, but I don't think we would have taken Pringle if space was an issue.

I agree, I think 5 spots is kinda the minimum we'll have, which is why I'm interested in how hard we keep pushing for anyone else haha

I'm sure that will change in a few hours after we have a sloppy as frick first half full of turnovers and uncontested missed shots, but for now I am content.
I'm almost excited about it. Will mean the world is returning to it's rightful order
Should I cuss you out as my self, or should I use an alter?

Quinerly, Shackelford, Davison, Ellis, Gurley, and Rojas are gone. If for whatever reason either Ellis, Gurley, Rojas want to stay another year, I believe they’d be using their COVID year and wouldn’t count against the 13 spots. I still believe we see at least one or two transfers between Tchikou, Ambrose-Hylton, or Miles, but that’s just me. Hard to see us not having at least one transfer though.

Don’t think Miles or Tchikou will be transferring, they should be getting a lot of minutes with all our departures. Of course we don’t know much about Tchikou yet.

As for Tchikou though, I’m just seeing the writing on the wall to some degree. I was as big on him as anyone in the past, but Coach Oats never seems to bring him up as a potential contributor to the team once he gets through his suspension. He brings up Rojas coming back in December more than he does Tchikou and I don’t think Rojas has a place to contribute on this team once he gets healthy either. I may be wrong and want to be, but Oats is usually quite transparent and his comments thus far this offseason don’t give me much hope. You can’t teach that size, but sometimes skills training highlights don’t end up translating to actual basketball skills or at least it takes some time for them to.
I personally hope his story ends up being similar to Christian Barmore’s in that it takes a couple years to learn the nuances of the game, but the flashes of talent were always there and finally he puts it all together, but I worry that with the new transfer rules, guys won’t be willing to stay long enough to see that come to fruition.

Alabama has now offered 2022 Leonard Miller (Fort Erie International Academy / Canada Elite) per his IG. His recruitment has been blowing up as he continues to put up video game numbers. Skilled 6'10" point forward that can do everything. #RollTide
Someone on BOL posted Miller had a recent game where he scored 59 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
ETA: Seems he scored 44 points in their season opener as well.

There's nothing out there on Leonard Miller. I wonder how he's been under the radar so long.

His FIBA U16 profile lists him as 6'3". Now he is reportedly 6'10". So there's a good chance that he wasn't really seen as anything special when he was 15, shot up half a foot over a couple of years, and now that he's gotten used to the "new" body the guard skills are coming back.

There are some Twitter videos on BOL showing a few Leonard highlights.
He is a freaking stud. Lefty with outstanding athleticism.
ETA: I'll try to link them.
