Is that 5PM EST or PST?
Sorry, I was behaving like an elitist east coast snob.
You are probably right - probably is 5 PM PST. That'd be awesome.

PST is the best time zone. Nothing better than when I lived in Portland and started my day with a game at 9am and then got brunch afterwards

The No. 1 power forward and No. 13 overall player in the country, Jarace Walker, was back on campus at Alabama this past weekend for an official visit, this time alongside his teammate at IMG Academy and now UA commit Jaden Bradley.
“It went very well. I had a really good time out there,” Walker said of his trip. “Watching the practice, just seeing myself fit in with the program, how they move the ball well, get up a lot of threes, play really well in transition. (I liked) Really just seeing how I would fit into the program.”
Alabama head coach Nate Oats and assistant Bryan Hodgson want to feature Walker in the offense.
“Really like as a point forward,” he said of how UA wants to use him. “They’ll have me set up the offense a couple plays, run the ball up the floor off the rebound, being able to push myself, set up my teammates, get everybody involved, showcase my full skillset.”
Speaking of Hodgson, Walker spoke highly of his area recruiter.
“How he’s real chill and laid back,” Walker said.”He does a really good job at recruiting but also building a relationship. It’s not always about basketball with him and I really like that.”
Darius Miles, who Walker played with at IMG Academy, was his player host over the weekend.
“Me and him are really close,” Walker said.
The football game atmosphere didn’t disappoint.
“It was crazy. It was a wild environment,” Walker said. “The fan base is crazy, like chanting my name when I was walking by. It was a wild environment.”
The elephant in the room question now is will Walker join his teammate Jaden Bradley at UA.
“He’s definitely been recruiting me really hard, considering he’s my roommate and I see him every day,” Walker said. “Obviously me and him are really close. He’s saying we can play really well together, and obviously we have the connection and the bond on and off the court. He’s keeping it in the back of my mind.”
While it’s not going to be the main factor in his final decision, having Bradley — and Miles for that matter — at UA helps.
“Definitely considering we already have the connection and we’ve been playing together for a while,” Walker said. “But at the end of the day what he did isn’t going to base me and my decision and where I want to go. It obviously has an impact for sure.”
Walker has no Crystal Ball predictions thus far and isn’t ready to name a single favorite. Other schools in the mix include LSU, Auburn, Houston, and Ohio State.
“If that was the case I probably would have been committed by now,” he said, adding he’ll likely make a decision after his last visit later this month.

Wonder why it isn't in CC?

Post on TI that KAH dislocated knee cap and is out until December. Anybody seen anything on this?

I'm beginning to wonder if we practice on banana peels or something. What are we doing out there? How can so many practice injuries keep happening in BASKETBALL?!?! It's getting a bit absurd, to be honest.

I’m worried it will be a long year with our schedule because of the injuries

Hope KAH can get healthy and come back mid year. I think he can contribute with rebounding and some scoring in the paint. Bediako will likely inherit any minutes KAH was looking at.

Josh primo dropped
17 pts, 7-8 fg, 3-4 from 3pt in 17 mins
Yeaaaaah I think he made the right choice

Not liking this injury rep we are accumulating. At the least it’s stunting our potential success each year. Hated losing Primo too but looks like he made the right choice. But Please no more injuries.

Some serious changes have to be made to the strength and conditioning program. It’s the past point of being a coincidence now.

So the season hasn’t even started and Rojas, Burnett, and KAH have all been injured. WTF.

A dislocated kneecap is a common injury that normally takes about 6 weeks to heal. It's often caused by a blow or a sudden change in direction when the leg is planted on the ground, such as during sports or dancing.
Google says it should take about six weeks to heal. Hopefully he can back for the Iona game on Thanksgiving.

Check out how just about every #Spurs player, and even a couple members of the Jazz, came over to Josh Primo as soon as the final buzzer sounded.
The crowd started chanting "Primo, Primo, Primo" in the waning seconds
