When do OVs officially end? Hopefully we get some reports on how the visit went soon. If the atmosphere in Tuscaloosa this weekend wasn't enough to put us over the top then we just aren't going to get him.

How are we feeling about walker?

Really wish we could upgrade on our venue to bring it all together

This weekend Bradley’s in Tuscaloosa for an official visit, alongside his teammate and another major 2022 hoops target in five-star froward Jarace Walker.
“Big,” Bradley said of how hard he’s recruiting his teammate. “He’s actually my roommate at school. So he’s always hearing my pitch.”
In fact, Bradley’s trying to get Walker to commit before the end of the weekend.
“That’s the goal,” he said laughing.
The only mention of Walker in that article, rest is just about his relationship with the coaching staff.

Top-100 forward Kimani Hamilton recaps Alabama unofficial visit, Ole Miss up next
Kimani Hamilton, the nation’s No. 87-ranked prospect in the class of 2022, traveled to Tuscaloosa Saturday for an unofficial visit in advance of his October 23rd official visit to Alabama.
“It was great. I had a fun time,” Hamilton said. “Definitely the fans and the support (stood out the most).”
The 6-foot-8, 215-pound small forward from Clinton (MS) and the Team Thad AAU Program, had the chance to meet with the Alabama coaching staff while on campus.
“They want me here bad and I really fit how they play,” he said. “It’s basically a place that just feels like home.”
Hamilton, who is down to a final three of Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss, will trip to Oxford on Friday for his official visit at Ole Miss.
“I’ll be listening really well on how they want me to play there making sure they know what I do,” he said.
Hamilton will then travel to Mississippi State on Oct. 16 for an official visit before his final official visit at Alabama at the end of the month.
He does not have a timetable for his commitment.

Kentucky, UCLA, Duke, and North Carolina leading college basketball in the national championship count says otherwise
You mean teams that won most of their titles when everyone stayed 3 or 4 years? How many 5 stars were on Baylor or Virginia? Zero.
Yes, you want talent. It's obviously critical. But having several one and dones almost never wins titles. Without veteran leadership and experience, those teams start dropping in the sweet 16. Balance is what wins titles. Anything what else just good for swinging your dick around.
Luckily, it looks like going to have his balance between elite young talent and veteran talent.

We never heard anything if he even made it up the weekend Brandon Miller visited or not

Saw something on Twitter from a rando that implied he did not make the trip and has yet to reschedule. No idea if that is accurate though.

I really want to know more about why we cooled on Rodney Rice tbh. Pretty sure he's considered to be the best shooter by far out of everyone that we targeted in this class.
Grasping at straws here, but maybe the staff viewed him as a little redundant with Jusaun Holt (and Shack to a lesser extent) already on the roster?

Either that or they like Griffen's upside better and expect him to develop as a shooter. It seems like our involvement with him ramped up as it ramped down with Rice.

Yeah, good point. Griffen is definitely supposed to be a much better athlete as well which should translate into him being a better fit defensively and running on the break offensively as well.
