If you think the remaining roster after Primo & Shacks exit has a higher ceiling than what I said, you need to remove your crimson glasses. You’ll be in for a long season

We are ranked anywhere from 15 to 20 in virtually preseason poll without those two. We have 3 guards that were 5 stars, Gurley who averaged 16 ppg last year, Keon Ellis who is due for a breakout season, Tchikou who is possibly one of the most skilled centers in CBB. You're either a troll or an idiot.

the ceiling? great coaching. the talent is absurd. best weve had in decades. if things really come together then no question, all. the. way.

now speaking modestly on it, with all the question marks that come with a young team, brand new roster, and ofcourse the injury game, i would be quite content with seeing another sweet 16 run and sec title. sure we may struggle early with such a rediculous schedule but as others have said, those potential growing pains will have us a well oiled machine by sec time. whether or not we as say a 4 seed could get past whoevers the 1 is an impossible question to answer right now, but id certainly like to think so.

I want to stock up on tickets ASAP.

Ticket office hasn’t sent renewal notices out yet. Called today and they said they ‘hoped’ to get them out in about two weeks…. I wonder if it will be like football with some Tide Pride level seat openings in Coleman.

Can’t wait till JD hits the buzzer beater vs Georgia in the SEC tourney to get us in the play in game for the 12 seed, smh.

I don’t know how you look at our roster, post that we’re a “*bubble team*and think “yeah, everything checks out and makes sense, such a depleted roster”.

Play in game. Pretty amazing how he thinks we have gotten rid of the players with the wrong number of chromosomes and will somehow be a worse team for it. It's like he's a troll or something.

Oh good lord...no. If we're a bubble team multiple things went horribly wrong.

My concern is the schedule is brutal and we aren't going to be as strong as originally thought without Shack and Primo.
Still a talented team, but the record may not reflect it to the degree we hope.

But how? We finally got rid of all of Avery's idiot players! I was told once we did that we'd be on our way!

So we lost the guys who you, yourself, basically stated didn’t have any functioning brain cells on a basketball court… and you think we will be worse? Yeah, there’s no way a Bama fan runs your account.

PG - Quinerly, JD, Burnett
SG - JD, Burnett,
G/F - Ellis, Miles, Holt
F - Gurley, Gary, KAH
PF/C - Tchikou, Bediako, Gurley

Healthy Tchikou gives this team a huge boost. With him healthy I think we're a top 3-4 seed. Without him healthy, probably somewhere between 5-8. With the combination of the toughness of our schedule and the integration of a lot of new players, it will be really tough to get as high of a seed as we got last year. BUT regardless of how high of a seed we get, we'll have a high ceiling in the tournament with how battle-tested we will have been

My only concern when talk about ceiling and expectations is the brutal schedule. Yes there’s talent but they’ve never played together. We could easily lose a lot of games early. And the league will be better this year too. I’ll say a safe tourney team. Probably a 5-6 seed at best maybe 8-9 seed at worst. Hopefully another Sweet 16

Yeah if Tchikou is able to play 20-25 minutes a game I think we have top 10 potential.

And if we stay at 11, health will become key. Losing Shack and Primo dealt a blow to depth, especially at guard

That brutal schedule will help us a lot if we can win a couple of them. Having a couple of quad 1 wins going into SEC play would be huge, and it's not like a quad 1 loss would hurt us much, we saw that with the big10 last year. Teams were beating each other but because it was a top 10 team they lost to they only dropped like one spot if any.

We lost of experience but so did Gonzaga, Houston, Baylor ect.

primo being gone frees up more time for gurley and gary at the 4 so i expect tchikou to end up with atleast 25 minutes a game by the time hes fully healthy and team roles are more understood.
