I also don’t think Oats would have paid what he did to get Cliff if he was only 6-9 (although a crazy wingspan can make up for some height differences).

My main point was that there’s no way Oats is expecting a sophomore Sherell to be as good on defense as a senior Cliff

i would be surprised if oats thought a guy like sherrell didnt have the potential to become an above average defender as a sophomore.

i guess they want a ''rivalry narrative'' kinda thing for choosing clemson again

Stop trying to make a Clemson rivalry happen. It’s never going to happen

I think the matchups are based on last year's team's conference record.

Then Auburn wouldn't be playing against NC State. NC State fired their coach, Auburn won the sec.

Hell, the Oats/Wade rivalry makes that more interesting than them vs Auburn.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to a NIL collective being the entity reporting recruiting news.

Not sure what the future holds for Yea Alabama. The guy who was running it is no longer there.

Was just reading an article about the PG above, playing in a camp. Apparently Mo Williams' son was at the same camp and is a 2026 3 star prospect. I looked him up, just to find out that Mo has 7 sons. I know Mo was a natural at scoring, but 7 sons? Damn.

We want the 7th son. He's the one.

I used to work with a dude from Vermont. He sounded exactly the same as Bol Bowen. It's almost a hint of surfer, for no apparent reason. I just thought that dude was weird. Nope. Vermont accent apparently.

Both videos from the discord. Apparently Bethea had a rough day today a lot of his shots were rimming out and he was getting frustrated.

I wasn’t able to make the camp this year but I can confirm from someone who is there. TBB is going to make a huge impact on both ends.

He also said that Williamson looks absolutely lost and extremely slow. Hopefully it’s just a new system and he’ll adjust but he said he looked “practice squad bad”.

Our frontcourt is going to be razor thin if he can’t contribute any meaningful minutes.

TBH, with the league he played in and at his size, his defensive statistics pointed to this being the case. Not that surprising, unfortunately.

We really need to fill that last roster spot with a backup big that can at least play a little defense and rebound. Need an effort guy with limited offense that doesn’t mind sitting the bench for long stretches.

Lets see if he can’t be a taller Alex Reese. Surely he’s not significantly less athletic than AR
