6'10'' guard that is likely a bit young and could grow into more of a point forward is an interesting fit in this offense.

So he has been a Guard his whole life and just switched to a 3/4 and is still developing there.

He looks like what Williamson is trying to be.
How has he been under the radar till now? I don't know how well he would handle the physicality of CBB, because refs let them play rugby, but his skill level is incredible for a 6'10 guy whose reportedly still getting used to the height.

But with 13 spots, possibly 15 upcoming, it's worth the gamble. Otherwise you're probably gonna end up with a freshman who transfers out before seeing the floor. I like strategic gambles..

I'm guessing that Oats thinks Jemison is not getting redshirted and probably playing genuine rotational minutes. If that is the case then I can see why they don't think they need another PF type on the roster. Bowen, Bristow, and Jemison probably chew up all the real minutes at PF. Plus, I imagine they could play double C big lineups with Williamson and Sherrell occasionally too. For 1-3 we have 5 returning contributors or transfers plus I believe Bristow will likely play some at the 3. Additionally, the other two true freshman slot in as off-guard or wing players.
So yeah, I totally think the 13th spot is mainly a lottery ticket for 2026-2027 season at this juncture barring bad injuries.
