Losing Mo sucks. No way around it.

But, there's a reason the unskilled motor guys (Galin Smith, Juwan Gary, Pringle, Mo) don't stay. It's because they don't fit the system well enough to guarantee them playing time, or, these days, NIL money.
Yep, he was very valuable to us as a hustle guy playing 15-20 minutes, but he would be much more valuable playing 30-35 minutes in a system like Beard's or Sampson's.

Mo D just entered the portal

Damn. That hurts man.

Maybe it's best for the team, but I loved that guy.

He's from Queens.

Perfect fit to go home and finish out at St. John's.

Maybe Mo is just still hangry from Ramadan.

Serious note, could see him going to St John’s to be close to home.

Agree, I hate that. He will be a boss if he goes to St John's

Any word on Sherrell?

He seemed to be finding his stroke late.

Mo is a fan favorite for justifiable reasons but this is not worth melting over.

"Do you think Stevenson or Reid will hit the portal?
Hard to say who’s leaving, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one — or even both — decide to transfer.
With Mo gone, I’m really hoping we get to keep both of them at Bama."

Is this a quote from someone?

Stevenson

I've probably said this here before, but I legitimately thought Stevenson was a darkhorse guy to be one of the best players in the country coming into this year.

I could not have been more wrong (and I still like the kid).

It's almost like he hit a growth spurt and just obliterated his touch.

Nah, just my own thoughts. Been thinking a lot about this situation lately.

He’s probably quoting himself because he says the same shite every post and that makes it easier

I would've rather we kept Mo Dioubate.

Derrion Reid has a lot to work on and he's had problems with injuries.

He's still 19 years old. His issue is confidence and not going up strong - both related and fixable. I don't know if he WILL fix them, but he can. He has all the ability to be an NBA guy in a year or two.
