Sherrell has shown very little. Maybe that was due to his injury. He can hit threes occasionally but he doesn't have a post presence. He doesn't have a back to the basket game. He was in foul trouble a lot because he doesn't move extremely well and he isn't an explosive athlete (he's average at best).

So I just don't see Noah Williamson just being added as a depth piece. Williams is way more fluid and explosive. He has a back to the basket game if you need a bucket. He can shoot the three ball as well.

It'll depend on how the off season goes for Aiden Sherrell & Noah Williamson! I think that will determine who will start!

Williamson is hopefully a nice addition and glad to get him I think. Hard to overlook his extremely high turnover rate. He averages more turnovers per game than Sears on a much lower usage rate with the ball in his hands and it's against much less athletic defenders than he is about to see. People's heads were about to explode due to Sears turnovers this year and he is a ball dominant guard.

Well, it could be an issue where he gets double teamed or it could be that his team wasn't good so he tried to force things. You never know.

I was referencing the fact that Walters, Griffen and Bradley were all guys we signed out of high school knowing they would need a little seasoning and we did the same with Cunningham this year. In today's Nil world those guys would have had a price tag as recruits. If you know a guy is going to need development and you are going to have to pay for it, why not just pay more for proven commodities as much as possible.

There is a lot more to turnovers than just being bad at ball security. We'll know the truth of it pretty quickly this Fall. My guess is he was having to force more passes out of the block and made mistakes under aggressive double teams. Without watching tape...just shooting from hip...

100% agree. Alabama is developing a reputation where they can operate more like the big dogs do with HS recruits: you recruit immediate rotational depth at worst. If they need seasoning then they need to at least be talented enough to get on-the-job training not a training program.

I think Cunningham's issue was that he clearly didn't meet projections for his Senior year of HS and possibly a sign of a kid who was an elite HS Sophomore or Junior but plateaued.

I know some of their guys may leave or aren't ready yet, but it's an idea of the front court depth I'd love to have. (That and guards that aren't too short).
Duke's length is just crazy top to bottom. We had 4 guys over 6' 10" and definitely lose 2 maybe 3. Gonna need more than Sherrell and Cunningham for sure.

And yes, Rioux really is 7' 9"

I can also block shots against toddlers at the Y while not being able to move well.

You can, but they usually kick you out if you're having a big game.

I didn't say he was awesome. Just part of a roster I gave. Thought the videos were interesting. Dude is huge and he did play at IMG so he must not be terrible

Buzz going to Maryland is interesting. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall in the SEC, I know a lot of aTm fans were kinda fed up with him.

Bol Bowen just finished a visit to SMU. Will visit KY today and Bama tomorrow. It’s fluid.

Bama is in good position with Chest.

Door isn’t totally shut on Philon returning. Probably declaring with the option to withdraw.

That’s pretty much it.
