How many open spots do we have next year?
I'd look at flying into Houston and renting a car and making the 3 hour drive to San Antonio. I would think Houston would have more flight deals than either Austin or San Antonio.
As far as spots, Iooks like we lose at least 5 players...6 if Wrightsell doesn't get the medical year with 3 signees so I'm guessing at least 2 spots available and maybe 3

The National Media is so hypocritical when talking about our defense and others for some reason. It drives me insane. WE ARENT BAD ON DEFENSE!!

We have days and match up's where it's really good... But there have certainly been a lot of games where the only thing that kept us from stretching leads was our inability get any form of consecutive stops. All that said, it's a different season now. Team defense looked stout against St. Mary's. When Grant and Cliff are confident and a little mad, things can look really good.

Chest is listed as a 6'8" 210 PF who made zero 3 attempts last season. I just don't know how he'd fit in, unless he's a strong rim protector. But he's a little short for that. Though effort and bball IQ go a long way on defense.

Feeling really good about landing Wooley. Talked to some KSU guys when the team was up in Huntsville and the expectation for a while has been for him to be playing at Alabama next year.

Rodman was 6’8” . Barkley 6’5”. I know there are exceptions but Chest had 18 rebounds against us.

Problem is he probably can't guard a true 5. And with having no outside shot, I just don't know how well he fits in our system. But he's talented. And if the staff wants him, I'm not gonna second guess their opinions.

Maybe he could play the 4 and we get a 5 that can score. One 5 from Iowa who can score just portalled to Creighton.

I'd rather we just get a guy that fits the system. It's not like Bama can't be selective. There's a reason fan favorites like Gary and Pringle end up transferring.
