Basketball talk on the rant.
My favorite time of the year.

Season tickets are on the Ala app now if you weren’t aware.

Had to move seats to get an extra ticket for my MIL to go to games with us this season (my FIL passed right before FL game in Feb, so wanted to include her this year as a bit of happy distraction). Unfortunately it meant we gave up a much better sideline view for a behind the basket view (pretty high up too). Just glad to be in the building, honestly, and hope this year is special!

Think of it like this. It's all worth it if we just get one. If we win one and then he leaves, so be it. We will be National Champions.

Almost basketball season. That's the only reason I'm not canceling my YouTubeTV. This basketball team is actually the only reason I didn't retire from rabid Fandom when Saban retired. I'm getting too old for this bullshite, but I've always loved the game of basketball more than football- probably because I was better at it. Last years Final Four run, and the potential of this years team is like a dream come true. Can't wait to tip it off.

You just described my entire existence in a nutshell. I would have cancelled ESPN + and YouTube TV both if not for Alabama basketball. I haven't been a rabid football fan in years. By the time of the Mike Price fiasco I had all but checked out on football. Was glad to see Saban prove everyone wrong about Alabama football being extinct, but was happier for my kids and the younger generation, felt like it was more their time than mine.
Basketball on the other hand. Lot of us old guys have waited a long time to see what we saw last year. If that's as good as it gets in my lifetime, I will take it because I always said just let me see us play in one final four.. unfortunately, it was to awesome, I want to see them win the whole thing.

Can we talk about service fees to buy tickets
Posted on 10/7/24 at 2:09 pm to pioneerbasketball
Try “Tick Pick”.
Theres no fees. The tickets are a bit higher so that kinda offsets the point but I think it ends up being a bit cheaper normally

I’m w you man. YeaAlabama has a decent ticket exchange program for members of the collective. Outside of that it’s kind of a shite show.

Consistently gotten better each year too. Everyone kind of knows the knock on him here was his game didn't fit our system, but it was never a lack of effort. He has a pretty solid following of Alabama fans on twitter/x I have noticed, which is pretty cool.
