It's also nice to know that in his mind he has as much or better resource availability than anyone else, so as long as he likes living here we're really just worrying about the NBA.

I think Oats has put to rest the idea that our basketball team does not get enough NIL. His recruiting success also belies that notion.
Very good news for us fans.

It also seems like the teams that are winning bidding wars are the ones desperate for talent, and are trying to quickly make up the gap. There's a couple of exceptions. But some seen like they're just throwing darts against the wall, hoping to create a team. There's some very questionable fits and decisions. I think this off-season isn't going to be the norm, but more like the peak before things level off. There's no way $2 million seasons for 1 player can sustain. With egos and jealously, it might actually hurt teams.

+20% is a huge gain. Anybody know how they calculate peak force or what it is?

Dior Johnson ended up picking UCF. While we were laughing about him going to Auburn, UCF has him and Mikey Williams as their starting backcourt. That's the biggest dice roll I've seen in awhile.

Louisville was 4-28 in 2022-23 and made the most $$$

Well yeah but people in Louisville love their basketball team. I lived in Columbus OH for 4 years and never heard a single person talk about the basketball team and they were pretty decent back then

We were just told Cliff lost weight, so im not sure what to make of these tweets. But i have full faith in this staff to get the guys in good shape to play the type of ball Oats wants. Looks like everyone is up a little. But that makes sense bc they will lose weight over the course of the season.

Listed heights and weights are bullshite a lot of times if we're being honest. If a guy weighs 196, he'll get listed at 200 and if he ways 202 he'll get listed at 205. More times than not they just round it.
As far as Cliff goes, he probably wasn't 240 to begin with. He was probably already closer to 255 and a little out of shape with it being the offseason and then toned up and dropped five pounds when Barrera got him in the program.
ETA: I can remember even back in HS having guys listed an inch or two taller and 10 pounds heavier than they actually were because coaches thought it would help if the opposing team/coach got a program and thought you were bigger than you were.
