Could be Reid

Looks like it will be Tre Johnson or Billy Richmond

Johnson would be Baylor or Texas, right? Didn’t Richmond say he would not be signing early?

That was the rumor. Not sure if he actually said it. But Trilly just picked Kentucky. Not too surprised. I figured he'd go with Cal, because his dad doesn't seem to like Penny.

Ah yes, this class’s white whale. The back and forth between Alabama and Georgia continues. I can say with confidence that NIL is no longer the issue here and it’ll simply come down to fit – both on and off the court. In recent days, the buzz for Alabama has picked up again. One source went as far to say a verbal commitment was given to the Tide, but I won’t believe it until the ink is dry on the edit.

If he didn't sign during the signing period that ended yesterday then I won't believe it until April of next year.

Yep. April 17th is when the next signing date begins.

Kinda over it at this point. If he's having a tough time deciding between two basketball programs as far apart in competitiveness as us and UGA he'd probably spend so long deciding between Taylor Swift and a fat, ugly hooker that he'd end up not getting laid at all.

But enough about my early 20s. Back to basketball recruiting

Maybe Mom likes Georgia, and he is from Georgia, but he likes Bama, where his friend and teammate Aiden Sherrell has signed to play. Don’t parents have to sign papers for recruits under 18?

Well, Perry is ranked from 70 to 95 or so in the 2024 class, and that is where we can compete in NIL

We’re 8th in on3 recruiting rankings, should be top 4 when we land Reid. (Its only a matter of time.)

Not bad for a team that cant afford top 70 bball recruits.

Maybe why he is waiting until April to sign so he can sign with us. Don’t know when his Bday is but it would make sense his Mom not willing to sign for him to come here so he is waiting until he doesn’t need her signature

With our 2 commitments being a Top 20 and a Top 50 player. And if Mom hadn't put on the brakes, another 5 star recruit.

And Perry picked Kentucky because it's his dream school. You sure as hell don't start a bidding war for a #100 guy. Not in the transfer era. As often as I hear Bama fans bitching about too many out of state players on the football roster it's kinda funny and a little pathetic to see people doing anything but praise Perry for choosing the harder route to playing time because of being a fan.

I agree.

Not saying this to you but just in general, Reid's mom doesn't hate Nate Oats, he's most likely gonna be committed here pretty soon, so hopefully, people let that false rumor die.

Speaking of white guys on Kentucky Reed Sheppard had 25 off the bench tonight and 7 assists he looks good. Was 7 of 8 from 3.

Glad he's already signed. It's gonna be insane to us with a true defensive run protecting center that's not an offensive liability that clogs lanes. That's how you end up with top efficiency on both sides of the ball.

I'm gonna go ahead and play a little devil's advocate. But so far Georgia has lost to the #27, 37, and 38 (all high major teams), and have beaten the #85 and 332. ranked teams on Torvik. While we've played the #230, 121, 207, and 257. So credit to them for scheduling good competition early.

I personally think it's a bad idea to play that many top 40 teams so early. I like a few easy teams to work out some kinks and experiment with lineups. But I'm gonna hold off laughing until they drop to a 200+ school.
