Speaking of merchandise, is anyone heading to Tuscaloosa for the surplus sale in a few weeks? I either didn’t receive the email from TP or overlooked it, but I haven’t been able to get registered. Tickets are free, but you have to get them through Tide Pride. If anyone wants to hook a guy up, I can shoot you my email and try to make it worth your while.

A lot of people talking about Oats's jacket. Haven't seen one like this before. Does anybody know where it is available?

Not sure about y'all. But I think Oats might be due for a contract extension.
No point in another one just yet. The hires that were of any concern whatsoever are over and done with. We should just do the same thing we did last year during the season. In the middle of a fantastic season again? Extend and rework the contract again mid-season to beat the coaching search rush...
I wasn't serious. Though another one should happen if next season goes like I think it can.

Fired up to welcome @ng_cuatro to the basketball family. Huge addition for us. Experienced, skilled front court player that will help us tremendously.

Excited to bring in @NimariBurnett to the family. Big time 2-way player that we’ve loved since high school. One of the more versatile perimeter players out there. Been a winner since high school. Roll Tide!

Who will be the leaders on next years team? It was pretty obvious that Herb was the leader on this team even with his ups and downs. I think Pettey and Reese helped and maybe even Bruner. Who leads next year. The leader isn't necessarily the top scorer or even the player with the most minutes.

Quinnerly will be our leader with Shaq as his left hand man. Davison and Primo will be the hype squad and Ellis, Burnett, and Gary will be our bulldogs.
We should have an insane team. Gurley may even end up being our leading scorer with all the perimeter shooting he should be able to work the paint on give and go’s, and pick and rolls/pops.

Not sure JQ has the personality. Don't know that he doesn't.
Shack will be scrambling for playing time IMO. Just don't see a clear cut candidate. Hopefully one will emerge.

Gary may be your leader!! His toughness is a lot like Herb's. He was our most tenacious rebounder and getting after loose balls like it was his last $.10 to his name!!

I was the organizer and first member of the Play Gary More Club, but I don't know how much he's even going to play this year, unless he drastically improves his shooting. That's not a knock on him, but he's more of a traditional power forward than anything else, and Oats has recruited some guys that fit the system better.

Is it ok to speculate on who may or may not be our leader or who may or may not have those qualities in this thread ?

I don't know. That other dude is in charge of what can be discussed here.

In the Oats press conference, he said Tchikou is up to around 243 lbs.

All true. I think there are minutes there for him though. He just has too much energy and hustle to not get him out there.
