It’s easier to get good JQ against teams that don’t have quick guards who can defend.

The counter to this is he was really good vs Houston and Baylor. If you looked back at his game logs, I’m not sure there would be any discernible pattern. He was good sometimes, he was bad others.

Tennessee got absolutely shafted

If they seed UK above them, that tells me all I need to know.

UT should have had an outside shot at a 1 seed, 2 seed at WORST

Tennessee's resume was pretty great even before the tournament. Much better than Duke's.

Agree our draw is as good as we could have asked for, minus the Tech turnover debacle. Hopefully tech shoots like garbage that game and we are hot despite the defensive turnovers…assuming we win round 1. It’s exciting to be in and I agree, night game on Friday would keep us interested in every 1st rd game! If we lost early Thursday, I’d probably have a hard time being excited for the rest of the weekend.

We are in 2-2 against teams in the west regional. What could go wrong?

Also, Arkansas got a tough draw

Vermont is one of those senior laden teams that is fundamentally sound and will not make the mistakes. And then potentially Uconn in the 2nd round? That’s an ouchie

What time would our game be friday? I doubt it’s even announced or known yet but just curious

Yea Texas Tech scares you defensively, but the fact that they can be bad offensively and we can make shots to equalize any defense at least gives you a chance.

Either way, no expectations.

The first round is all pods that don't correlate to the regional location. Used to all be in region but they changed it a decade or so ago. On the regional site matches the location.

Yea Vermont-UConn-Gonzaga is a very difficult stretch to get to the Elite 8.

Duke still gets to play their first two games within an hour or two of campus though. Every year. Without fail.

LSU got a 2 seed upgrade after firing? I thought for sure they were going to get the screw to an 8 seed
